Biosilk Silk Therapy vs Generic Value Products Silk Treatment (the brand Sally's carries that touts itself as the Biosilk equivilent)
I have both. The ingredients read exactly the same and are in the same listed order. The fragrance is almost identical.
Generic got close but it's just a little thinner and doesn't absorb quite as nicely as Biosilk.
I put equal glops in the palm of my hand and turned it sideways. The Generic ran down my hand faster.
If you're on a budget, go with the Generic. It's pretty darn close. If you've had Biosilk before and liked it and money isn't really an issue, you'll probably prefer the Biosilk.

Amm, have you actually tried the generic BioSilk on your hair yet? It made mine sticky, like mousse, which the real stuff never did. I hated it, and returned it to Sally's.
Of course, that's just my own experience. If you like it, then yes, the generic is waaaaay cheaper.

I am constantly looking for products and sometimes I forget where I see them. This makes it so much easier to find all on one page!! I though this way we can go straight to the best deal in secs without all that searching.
I figured I'd spend all night getting as much product comparisons as possible as I won't be around for the next couple days......off to Vegas!! YEEHAA!!

Wait a freakin' minute here....$3500 for a WIG?! $4000 for a dreadlock WIG?! They can't be serious! You can get a custom made wig for much less than that! That is absolutely insane!
But to stay on topic...yes - we definitely should post comparisons when we run across them. But I think the board has been doing a fantastic job lately of posting links to all kinds of helpful and amazing things. Good work, girls!

Not a really exciting comparison, but.... I went to the beauty supply store to find the OPH hair and decided to get some more BioSilk. $20 for a 5.6 oz bottle. I said no way.
I went to Longs Drugs the next day...$11.99 for the same size bottle!

BTW - May I recommend not buying a wig online untill you try a comparable wig on at a shop or something beforehand. When I went to try on wigs at this local shop the ones I thought would look amazing on me looked like poo, and after trying on over 12 (bless the sale lady's heart) I ended up buying one I didnt think Id like in the first place, and it was only a little over $20 - I sewed on a wig clip in the front and its perfect.
And another thing, some of those lace fronts look like normal hairlines with a bit of lace thrown in - not nearly as professional a job for the price theyre asking for. And with diffrent sellers selling diffrent quality products using the same pics, be careful and buy from a reputable seller. ... shoot, how corrupted is the hair industry anyway, buying a good quality wig thats worth the price is like trying to buy good quality human hair
