Biosilk Silk Therapy vs Generic Value Products Silk Treatment (the brand Sally's carries that touts itself as the Biosilk equivilent)

I have both. The ingredients read exactly the same and are in the same listed order. The fragrance is almost identical.

Generic got close but it's just a little thinner and doesn't absorb quite as nicely as Biosilk.

I put equal glops in the palm of my hand and turned it sideways. The Generic ran down my hand faster.

If you're on a budget, go with the Generic. It's pretty darn close. If you've had Biosilk before and liked it and money isn't really an issue, you'll probably prefer the Biosilk.

Amm, have you actually tried the generic BioSilk on your hair yet? It made mine sticky, like mousse, which the real stuff never did. I hated it, and returned it to Sally's.

Of course, that's just my own experience. If you like it, then yes, the generic is waaaaay cheaper.

Wait a freakin' minute here....$3500 for a WIG?! $4000 for a dreadlock WIG?! They can't be serious! You can get a custom made wig for much less than that! That is absolutely insane!

But to stay on topic...yes - we definitely should post comparisons when we run across them. But I think the board has been doing a fantastic job lately of posting links to all kinds of helpful and amazing things. Good work, girls!
