I've always shed like a dog and now that I'm in my 40s its starting to look a little thin (not sure why, but can't blame it on any condition - believe me, I've been tested for everything!), but I'm hesitant to start anything that requires taking something for the rest of my life, which is why I still haven't tried Propecia or Mynoxidil. So does anyone know what happens if you take Viviscal for 1 year, then stop? Do you lose all the new hair growth like you do with the other two products I mentioned, or do you get to keep what you've grown and just go back to losing the way you did before? I just would like to know should my financial situation change in the future and I can no longer afford the $45-$60 a month.

Thanks for any insights offered!
