Depends. If his job is trimming hedges for the local council, I`d say don`t. But seriously if you think the idea of sharing such an experience would be awesome, well go ahead as long as you are aware of the possible consequences, ie you might need to buy a big hat for the summer!0 ),

About 17 years ago my girlfriend said the same thing. I cut it and enjoyed it. We have been married for 16 years and I still cut her hair and she cuts mine. Does he not want to cut your hair because he is afraid or does he not want you to have your hair cut? If the first is the case, start off with only a little - where he feels comfortable - if the latter is the case, find another boyfriend. Just kidding - hope you two find the joy we did.

I too did not want to cut my wife`s hair. I liked it long and didn`t want to mess it up and I was a bit insecure with the thought of "cutting hair". Well, one night she got me in the mood to where I would say yes to anything and she cut off a small piece of 14" of hair. She told me how good I was at fixing things and that I needed to fix her hair. That was almost 8 years ago and I`ve been cutting her hair ever since and just recently began cutting my daughters hair as well. I guees the worst that could have happened is that if I didn`t cut it she still would have had to get it evened up somewhere.

I hope that passing along my experience helps you and your boyfriend out. Please let us know what happens (if anything).

Later,
Jeff B

Jeff and JES,

Thank you for sharing your experiences with me. It is encouraging to know that others went through the same thing with such wonderful results. I stll have`nt been successful in talking him into it but I`m still hoping. If you have any ideas on how to convince him please email them to me. Thanks.,!%

Laura~
Is your boyfriend a hair stylist? Personally, I wouldn`t trust anyone BUT a hairstylist to cut my hair. If he is then go ahead. I think if he doesnt want to do it then hes not confident in himself. If he doesn`t think he can do it then dont pressure him, he probley just doesnt want to screw your hair up. ( % Aaf*

Anna,

I`d certainly like to discuss cutting your hair. I used

Best wishes for the New Year!

While I'd have more a tendency to disarm anyone with scissors, I can understand where this comes from, and it is a nice logical way to have fun, enjoy each other.

For the longer half of the board, maybe just a head/hair massage, or a nice shampoo could work, I just can't put this into action, since I walk alone in this world. Combing/brushing too can be very fun, as long as it's done gently and with care. Having your partner do stuff for you and both of you enjoying it is one of the most fun things you can do.

As for mixed length couples, well, do the chores for the other, it's quite simple actually :)

Except braiding, etc.... Guys often don't learn this stuff. I want to learn, but it's not for anyone else, it's for me (! A al` eb (% $b` /6(bb !.$ ,-$! -- % ( Bp $

Laura,
If he won't do it himself, how about have him come to the salon and watch you have it cut? That ought to turn him on
happy haircut!

Even if he's really bad at cutting hair, you can still get him to do it. Just make sure he leaves enough that you can go in to a salon and have an actual style made out of it the next day. *shrugs* Wear a hat or wig when you show up, and no-one ever has to see what a bad job he did except the two of you and the stylist. ! % Aaebade d !, ` . 4``
