I'm not really sure how to take care of my hair. I have long black hair.

Normally, I was it every morning by shampooing my scalp, and conditioning the rest of my hair from my neck down. I don't leave the shampoo in too long. Once I've given my scalp a good massage, I rinse it right off.

I find that if I don't shampoo, the my scalp gets oily/greasy, and really gross.

In general I'd say my hair is kind of dry? I'm not really sure.

Anyway, my concern is that wherever my hair splits if you look at my hair when it's wet from above and it's split in different spots it looks like im balding there. It's scary. But, when my hair is dry and brushed it looks fine I think. Idk. It just looks like there's too much scalp showing.
