I have a lot of leeway at work since my assistant sets up my appointments around my schedule. I provide therapy and counselling services and I do text or instant message, check personal email, read articles on my Ipad or even visit forums between session to pass time but I never do this with a client or during someone's appointment because that would be improper work etiquette.
I guess it depends on your job and the rules your employer sets. Even if it is allowed you should never let if effect the efficiency of your work.Ericachristina2013-01-27 22:57:23
