I have heard that Type 4 curls whether type A or type B have a lot of shrinkage.  I have heard that when it's unlocked, unbraided, type 4 hair is known to shrink up to 75% of its actual hair length.  Is that true?  Really?  75%.  That is huge shrinkage.

It is the same with 4 A and 4 B or is there more shrinkage with one type over the other>?
