As winter time approaches, hair products are needed to help protect hair from cold air that causes hair to become brittle and dry.  Unless you have oily hair, usually extra precautions are taken during cooler weather.

I am curious in knowing the most popular hair products  highly recommended for use during colder weather. When naming your product, include your hair type

I agree. Olive oil or any oil is great for winter dryness. Except coconut oil. Some people have experienced coconut oil hardening in their hair because it turns solid if it gets cold enough. I've had the best experience with jojoba oil for leave ins and olive oil for heavy oilings that get washed out the next day. Also you could put it up and wear a hat, or wrap a scarf around it.

My hair is straight, fine textured, medium thickness and very dry.
