Smilehis is my first ceramic hair straightener, I was so exciting to try it on my hair.I used medium heat to do the straightening in case of heat damage by the high temperature. The straightened hair was super straight and shiny, it touched smooth and comfortable, that was the great result I had never experienced.

The only problem with straighteners, whether heat or chemical, is that they are a double edged sword.  While they may help hair to look straight, there is always a danger of long term damage.  Is it worth it or not?  Only people using the straighteners can actually decide for good.champion1192011-02-21 10:17:52

I think the most important thing to remember when using a hair straightener, is that you should always use the lowest heat setting that works with your hair. For example, people with thinner hair won't need as much heat as someone with thicker hair. Although, that doesn't mean that if you are someone who has thick hair you should immediately opt for the highest heat setting, play with it a bit. Start on a lower heat setting and work up until you find what works for your hair. Move the iron slowly but steadily from the roots to tips. I think an average of 3-4 seconds per section is what is recommended. You want to try to distribute the heat as evenly as possible. Ceramic hair straighteners are usually good because they distribute heat evenly. There are also lots of products available that coat the hair to protect it during straightening.  I hope this is helpful!! Goodluck!
