On another forum, I read about giving terribly tangled hair a bleach bath as a last resort. I did not have horrible hair issues at the time so I did not bookmark the site.

Apparently, you submerge the hair in a solution of bleach/hot water while combing through it (holding the weft upright). After rinsing thoroughly an ammonia solution is applied.

Has anyone heard of this or tried it?

Sounds crazy, I know, but I am desperate. My hair looks like three day dead roadkill on a windy day Angry

Wow, I have NEVER heard of that before, dipping it in bleach. My brain doesn't want to wrap around that one. Have many of you guys tried this?

Thanks MissHairGirl! The video is great. I have a tangled piece of weft hair that I'm gonna experiment on (can't resist).  The kids are gonna wonder what the H I'm doing :)
