Yup, even more so now when I wanna change up my look & get somethin' nice done for graduation pics which I take in 2 weeks and I don't kno what I want , one day I want somethin' straight n short w/ a long bang (hate them short ones ), then curly, then wavy wit long bangs

Who knows.. There were quite a few problems with it in terms of performance and functions not working (like search). I imagine this is a pretty healthy upgrade happening..

For every example where someone said the search did not work, I could ALWAYS show that it did.. The "SQL timeout" error message everyone got was because folks were using the search default parameters (which is to search within the message body).. Searching by topic ALWAYS worked.. Now by working I mean that searching by topic does not give you the error message.. If you were not getting search results, then that just means that what you are searching for can't be found, and you should try a different set of search terms.. That's not the same thing as an error..
Anywho.. Looks like BHM done taken a turn for the worse today.. Can't get into the forum at all now..

I'm on here too. I just started with BHM a couple of months ago, I barely got in to the groove.
I just remembered that I got an Evite for the So Cal Luncheon, with the invite to Hair Boutique, BHM, Hair Extensions 101, and MSN support group members. Google'd all and joined up!

It would be nice if this under AA hair care had a weaves/lacefront section & natural section. I guess it was easier at BHM no need in searching through thread and thread---go to that section research what you want and bam--it's good to go.

Thought that was a good idea, I am new to BHM... I've been on just a couple of months, it was hard to keep up with all the posts. This forum transitions upgrade thingy is actually nice I am reading everyhting on my own time and saving a bunch of information!

I have not tried this hair bought I am definately itching to. I'm gearing up to it in a few months though.
I'm new to weaves, it is just barely about a year. Before I invest in hair as elite as they say this line is. I want to make sure I understood all that I could, you know just in case my stylist or I ruined it.
I've read nothing but excellent reviews on this line.

hi i'm girlnextdoor fom BHM...been a member of this forum for a minute, but usually lurked here and there...I am mostly into weaves but decided to jump on the LF wagon after researching for 3 years. Just received my first LF from CLW and I am scared to death of it, lol. I had been hoping and wishing that when I go to BHM i would see an updated post, but no go.... I've did searches for updated info on Houston Stylist that apply wigs, but a lot of the info is a year or so old :(. I want to put my wig on, but i'm scared to do it the first time myself....woe is me...
Anywho, it is nice to see some familiar names over here...maybe we can set up shop here for a little while, until BHM is fixed or if it ever gets fixed!

Well, wouldn't ya know it. As soon as I receive my very first lace wig, the bhm website goes down! Fortunately, I bookmarked enough info to pull me through my very first application. I was nervous... took me an hour to put the thing on... but it's not too bad for a first-timer. I just put up the picks in my fotki.
I bought "Damita" from California Lace Wigs. I'm very pleased with it. I tried to bleach the knots, but I guess I didn't leave the bleach on long enough (10 min) cuz nothing happened.
I can't believe how addicted I've become to this stuff.
Oh, and it's good to see the rest of you strung-out addicts here too!
