Hello All,

I have been wearing great lengths extensions for more than 6 years now. I used to love this system but the camouflaging in the back of my head always made me self conscious. Not to go into details, I dye my hair and so the back of my head always has breakage and so it doesnt always blend in with my longer extensions.

I have been looking for something seamless ( which according to many extensionists in NYC  is impossible to find), until i saw somehting called hair on hair extensions ( supposed to take  days) some professionals claim to offer the service ( at a hefty price) but when you approach them they try to sell you a different system and discourage you from doing the hair on hair ( so its a wonder if they even know how to do it...)

Finally i came accross DONCOSAimages.com which offers MICRODOTS, its usually used for poeple who are bolding and tricho...something ( sorry not sure what the correct name is).
I dont have either of the conditions I dont have balding issues I just want long even layers and I dont want to see my little chunks of hair on top .
Seems like the perfect solution, looks like a spiderweb with beautiful hair attached to it which they sew in with a hair like thread and voila.
Supposedly indetectable to the eye or the touch. I must admit sounds a whole lot better than great lengths ( personally im sick of having this plasticy bonds in my hair, no matter how thin my stylist makes them).

I just put a huge deposit on the micropoints ( some other salon calls it blending ) and I wanted to know if anyone has had it done and if they are happy with it.

The initial price is very expensive for a full head, but it promises possibilities other extensions cannot ( putting your hair up, create invisible bangs etc...) this is supposedly what many celebs wear ( many of them are ethnic beauties, I however am caucasian .

any feedback on those???

im getting this done in 2 days, im very excited to get my Great lengths taken out ( i havent been without them for over 6 years) and I think i have come to my wit ends with them... im sick and tired of worrying about them being visible or my husband or daughters playing with  and touching my hair and saying how yucky it feels to touch  foreign objects on my scalp)

so initially very expensive but they can last for 3 years and maintenance is every 6 weeks ( $125)

it also allows me not to color my hair since its on the scalp it camouflages the roots and i probably wont have to blow dry it straight either since the hair is straight russian hair.

I appreciate any comments good or bad ... just testing unknown waters and hoping for some clarity from all of you wise members.

Thanks

I have heard of this company and basically they just anchor a hair integration piece on your head.  Some people complained that it hurt at the attachments that are anchored.

Please keep us updated on the micropoints. I was interested in this type of application as well before I got hooked on pinchbraids. There was a gal on this board that does them in Pennsylvania. ( too far from me) Her name is Charlene and the company was called CyberMane or CyberHair. The micropoints-- are they not little tiny silver bead type shells? I had read they attach like 5 or 6 hairs to each one.
Please give us updates on how it goes!

Posted By: BeachBunny
Date Posted: Jan 9, 2008 at 1:51pm
I think i induced you in error. Charlene does micropoints ( tiny little metal balls) she does that in cyberhair ( but that hair is synthetic and it only exists in 18" inches max)

The microdots are micro mini dots, they swore to me that it doesnt hurt. I think the poeple who complained might have been talking about hair blend or micro blends ( someone in Englewood NJ does that and there was some controversy about them so I never ended up calling them).
I am a bit reassured by the fact that microdots are used on poeple with scalp issues and health conditions causing hairloss or hair pulling, so I am assuming it was created with the idea of being comfortable and painless.

I hope i like it and its natural ( the price is exhorbitant) but i really hope it will relief me of my hair traumas.

I will let you know once its done: tomorrow night. and will try to post pictures if I can figure out how to get close enough to my scalp to show you what it looks like and get opinions on wether you can see it or not.

The microdots sound nice.    I just wanted to post here and  let you know that there IS a seamless hair extension method (I do it for MANY clients)  where you attach hair with a cold fusion method .    The hair is produced as a weft but there is absolutely no bulk at the top near your scalp because the hair is held together by a very thin (usually polymer) base so the hair looks like it is growing from your scalp (I have it in my front bang area and on top because my hair is thinning and you can see any other extension method right through my hair up there .    Of course, because it is attached to your hair,  it needs to be removed and reapplied every so often but the hair can be reused.

BeachBunny, thanks for explaining the system you're getting. I've never heard of it but it sounds really good. Please keep us posted!!

LuvHair, your system sounds interesting too. Can you post pictures?

I would love to see pictures of your system too luvhair especially the bang area. thanks for all the encouragement ya all ! Im so happy i found this forum.

I should have my iphone with me tomorrow, so I can update you throughout the day on the progress of the installation. Im scheduled to sit there for about 7or 8 hours ( including the removal of the GL extensions)

I can't post client's pictures here so I will take pictures of mine the next time I do them.

I'm looking forward to hearing more about these microdots.   Sounds like something I would love to learn how to do.

luvhair, even if you can take a pic of the scalp just so I can see how invisble they are, it would be great. im going to try and do that tomorrow for you guys. I know some other girls out there are looking for a second skin type of hair extensions, im hoping this will be it ! ( i just hope it doesnt feel like a wig on)

Hey BeachBunny, good luck today!!! It sounds like it's a great system. I don't think it will feel like a wig. After a few days you won't even know you're wearing it.

LuvHair, yeah if you can post pictures of your method it would be great!! Where are you buying your skin wefts from? How is the quality?

It sounds like the method where hair is tied onto strings. The string webbing is custom made to fit the head. I do one similar to this except  attach with braid and sew.

No it is nowhere near this method.Mikono
I just got the microdots put in and I really like them . its very similar to the hair on hair method. It took about 8 hours to do because I have so much hair but its very natural looking and much lighter then Great Lengths (bonds). Its nice not to have that plastic on my head anymore.
The damage greath lengths did to my hair was irreparable ( I had to cut a good chunk of it), but Microdots are definitely a good alternative.
It still feels tight but nothing completely unbearable and hopefully by tomorrow i wont feel them anymore ( it was the same with the GL extensions at first.
I wanted to post a pic of my scalp but its really invisble to the naked eye and seamless all around the head.

My check up is on wednesday and I cant wait because there are a few adjustments i want to make....
otherwise its smooth sailing from here... my biggest disappointment is that the stylist cut my hair too short after I sat there for so many hours I was pissed off... she should have asked me how long i wanted it. she went in there with a razor and zoom thru it i had no idea she was taking lengths away . wednesday im getting my long hair back no matter what!

But I am thrilled ! I now have a normal head of hair... couldnt say that with the extensions.
Oh I think someone said there was anchors... but no there are no anchors. only tiny little dots sewed in sparsely.
the thread looks see throw and looks like a hair but much stronger.

i took a pic but there is nothing to see. sorry !

It sounds wonderful!

But, I still can't picture it. Is it  5 or 6 hairs tied on to one of your own hair? Do they use a needle to attach hair to hair? Do you think the hair is clear synthetic? Sorry for all the questions. It just sounds so fantastic!

I would love to learn how to do this method. Is there any literature or a name I can Google?

http://www.doncosa.com/

here is the website for microdots.
I took this digital pic of my monitor. I couldn't get my computer to save it.
I have to say, it's an EXCELLENT website.
You can see the 3 first microdots as they start working up the head.
Maintenance must be done every 4 weeks. They claim the hair will last 3 to 4 years. I'm assuming a client is required to purchase 2 lb. of hair and during every maintenance the continue to take new hair out of the 2 lb. you've purchased.

Malibu, the creepy guy? that's james he is great. an artiste with attention to detail. he really thrives to make you happy and he has a great sense of humor. I spent 9hrs with the guy and i was laughing the whole time ( even when my GL extensions wouldnt come off).
the stylist cut my hair ( she is great but she just cut it too short)
They should last for about 3 years . I say about 2 ... which i was skeptical about at first but since they need no coloring and barely any blow drying, i can see how they can be preserved and healthy.

Today is DAY 2 with microdots, Pressure and pain are gone, i dont feel them anymore (I am relieved I remember watching America's next top model where they put a weft into this girl's head and she got swelling and horrible side effects, she was totally suffering with it so they had to take it off, luckily this was nothing like it)

My checkup visit is in 5 days and is FREE, they fix anything you do not like . in my case : i just want more length.

Kate : yes its a microdot ( very intricate work) sewed onto your own hair following your own growth direction as to replicate natural hair growth so it looks like its coming right out of your scalp.

BeachBunny, how long before you need them redone....two or three years?

How are they going to lengthen the hair now that it's cut?
(

Posted By: BeachBunny
Date Posted: Jan 13, 2008 at 7:46am
I think I have to have them removed and put back in every 5 -6 months ( but that takes about 2-3hrs)

They are changing the pieces on the bottom of my head to make my hair longer.

They have a huge gallery of hair so if they mess up on hiar cuts or you want to add highlights in your hair they never have to order hair for you.

However some of my pieces are temporary since they are having some custome made for me in russia.

sometimes i feel like this hair is coming right out of my scalp : its fantastic !

Also I feel like its the best method to actually help my hair grow. It isnt smothered under a net, my hair is interlaced with the actual microdotted hair so its breathing but getting a lot less abuse it would if it was just my hair there...
Only drawback : it is uncomfortable the first 2 days... then it becomes part of you.
I like to call this DETOX for my hair (lol).

I will keep you guys updated as I evolve with this system ...

I had a close up picture which mikomono tried to post for me but she couldnt size it correctly to post it. If someone can let me know how to post pics here I will post a few close-ups

Beachbunny.....I have to be honest...I'm starting to wonder about you. You never posted any pictures and you certainly weren't going into detail about the method. It sounds like you're advertising this system and perhaps you work there?? Or maybe you're Toni or Staci? Are you that creepy guy? Why would you "guess" that this person was fired? I think Tonim is being honest about what she knows and not falsely bashing anyone. I think it's strange that you took such offense....unless you're trying to justify the outrageous fee you paid? (

Hi malibu well I did try to post pics but couldn't figure it out. Mikomono (another memeber) got a pic that she tried to post for me but she couldn't format it to fit or something. If you would like pictures I will be more than happy to send them to you and you can post them.

I am not advertising this system, originally I came looking to make sure it would be good for me. And I am pretty happy. Iam concerned about what Toni said about causing balding so I'm looking into that but what threw me off is that Toni does dots too???

I did get offended because I just made a commitment to this ... But I also think an old employee coming on here to criticize probably has a motive especially claiming not to be a car salesman.

Anyhow you can messenger me privatelyif you'd like I would be more than happy to email pics and tell you what I do for a living ( nothing to do with hair lol)

Okay, I hear ya. It just seemed strange that you got so defensive but whatever. I think this method sounds like the sew ins, that if it's too tight you can suffer from traction alopecia.(sp?) You would know if it's too tight. It would be painful upon application and painful for several days, not just two days of discomfort...so I wouldn't worry about that.

Malibu, the discomfort was really getting to me the first 2 days. Now I don't feel it. So I hope you are right about not having to worry. I have never heard of sew ins but ya it has to be somewhat similar, since its done with threats and needles (lol). On my next tightening I'm going to make sure my roots aren't put under stress. I grow lots of hair and the last thing I need now is to start balding because of this. As if my GLs didn't do enough damage already. I wish I could just go without anything in my hair ... Hope it grows and I can soon. Thanks for your help

I'm coming out of a traumatic experience with GL so I might be putting too much hope into this system ... Toni, you are right about that. I made that mistake with my previous hairstylist and he would end up replacing 5 extensions and charging me 120 bucks  ... Definitely something to watch out for. However Im not gollible... I will smell it the minute it happens if I feel my wallet is being taken advantage of. Besides : I work in the entertainment/Fashion business, I can give someone very bad press the same way I can very good press :)
So far, they've been great and caring --- Maybe things have changed since you were working there ?

Will definitely keep all of you posted.
My advise so far : STAY AWAY from GL extensions ... a system I AM NOT NEW to, I have had it for 6 years ... your hair will never grow healthy ( it will grow but not healthy).
Dont let poeple tell you otherwise.

Beachbunny- what didn't you like about GL? did you have a full head replacement every 10-12 weeks? b/c that is what is recommended and not a few strands each time. How many strands did you have?

ALs0----regarding microdots....i thought it was similar to the micropoint system where you can have 1 strand of your hair attached to 4 of theirs. Or you can use the micropoint accents where they use beads with 100 hairs on them to attach to yours.

Hairlocs are basically metal/copper tubes that are crimped to your hair with an extension hair inserted. I am sure Tangles can explain it better since it is what she specializes in and also there is info posted in references section on it.

Sofiaone, thanks for explaining the other systems. I used to love great lengths. I had mine replaced every 10-12 weeks, but also every other week or so,i would have a few replaced where my hair is short and were showing after growth spurs.

The quality of the hair used to be fantastic years ago but lately it has been plain ugly and also i find them to be damaging no matter what. Not a good system for poeple looking to grow their own hair at some point

I have done a similiar method for years like this!  I make a base of micro rings around the perimeter of the person's head (or balding area) and then sew on a hairpiece.  This is nothing new.

It has ok results, but in general, people with thinning hair is more fragile and tends to no be able to strand up to the tension.

I sew on wefts using a micro ring base too and it can break hair over time if the hair is fragile.

Metal Girl, im no hair professional but what i have in my hair right now sounds nothing like your method. Probably the same concept to some technical extend but visually probably doesnt look anything like it ( there are no micro rings and it doesnt involve a hairpiece. I think you are right about the sewing causing breakage overtime, anything we do to our hair is always going to do more damage than not do anything. However the method i have in my hair is a lot less stressful on the hair cuticle and even the scalp than the bonds i had.

I also have to clarify something: i have checked out TONIM and I must say: she is legitimate. I had to look into her claims due to the amount of money I have just spent at the establishment she previously worked at, and the potential expenses i would have had if I didnt listen to her.

Turns out, she is very professional, she was telling the truth about everything she said and she is gifted. I decided to trust her and i have to say she rectified a bunch of issues I had with the system .

She does know how this system works and she did the same excact thing only she was gentler and she listened to me.

I believe she saved my hairline from hairloss ( it would have happened overtime) she actually released the top part of my head since I have lots of hair on my scalp and there was no need for that piece up there.

Im recommanding her, and I might be in hot water for making this switch but i believe it is the right thing to do and it is only fair to her and others that have been reading my posts to be informed.

I would like to thank Toni for her efforts and running to help me on such short notice.

You were right Metal, it's exactly what you stated. It is the same method I posted the pic of on page 1. It's a very fine fishnet integration. It sounds beautiful! Perhaps Toni can take some snap shots for us? This is what I would like to have done on my hair. You can attach hair anywhere on the head without seeing any attachments. It's expensive, but well worth it if the hair attached is untreated it should last years and years.mokipono2008-01-20 21:21:27 $- P cn`dp0% 00BB .(4`p /.(!%!))!,(!) %8`` #(

Mikopono, its exactly true, the only difference is that your fishnet ( on page 1) is whole cap integration piece, and this systems comes in portions and can be cut out and put just about anywhere .
It is so pretty... and it is expensive but I think it should last for a while ...

I think he was working his way up with me... he realized i was probably too smart for him to hit me hard the first time... but i did see that every visit was going to be around $400 especially when i didnt get the length i wanted ... it would be like:'oh im getting gorgeous hair in next week, we will add those in " and my question is" why didnt i get the gorgeous long hair to start with??????"

so anyways i got lucky but im out about $6000 because i think someone else would have charged me a lot less....

Just wanted to let you guys know that i changed the name of this thread. DONCOSA calls their process microdot ( supposedly its trademarked) and I refuse to advertise for them. Now i realize other technicians do know how to install the same system and just call it dots. I decided to refer to it as MICRO STITCH ( thats what it really is : technically they are tiny little surgical stitches). and this will avoid giving them publicity which they dont deserve.

You're right Tomin,
Super light virgin Russian hair is next to impossible to find. Most reputable Russian hair sellers use natural blonde hair for platinum colors because the bleach won't need to stay on for as long, as opposed to the time element needed with darker colors. We state plainly on our websites the Russian hair has been lifted from blonde to lightest blonde.
My supplier can get me some extra light blonde colors (not platinum) for double the cost of regular Russian hair. The regular cost for 25" light and med. brown Russian hair is $2,000. per kilo.

The hair from Russia is mostly light and med. browns (Caucasian hair)
Hair from Moldova and Georgia are mostly dark colors, and considered European hair (ethnic) This type of hair texture resembles Asian mixed with Russian hair because it has a fine texture.  It is usually straight and wavy hair.
This is where the distinction is made between Russian and European.
The line keeps changing so it can be hard to keep up.

Tomin, I don't understand.  Is this the website for hairauctions?
What is hair auctions? I haven't heard of it before. Can you give more info?
You're right about how hard it can be to ascertain the origin of hair. There are a few tricks for telling Caucasian hair from Indian. If you use a high lift bleach from roots to ends the Caucasian hair is always darker at the roots. Indian hair always comes up lighter at the roots.
Testing the cuticle direction simply means if you dampen the hair and slide your fingers in either direction you will feel less friction on the hair that's pointing down. If the feel is the same going in either direction it's likely the hair has been processed for cuticle removal.
To be honest, I don't know much about Italian, or Spanish hair. I've heard the hair is all from India and is processed in Italy, or Spain. I don't know this for sure, it's probably not true, just some more urban legend.

Forgive me if I am out of line, I have been on this forum for almost a year and I have never read any Salon bashing on here as much as this thread before. It just seams like a coincidence that tonim and beach bunny joined around the same time and now its kind of a gang up on this salon. hmmmm it makes me wonder the true motive behind this. I have had some shady or bad dealings with businesses before but never went over and above to post their Reliability Report online, it seems like something that needs to be brought up in court not on a forum. I certainly would be mad if I paid and insane amount of money for a process that no one ever really heard of and have no idea the reliability of it, but I personally think any salons or stylist should stay out of the forums unless its complete fraud. And that has not been proved yet. ! B` lat`bd !(0 ` #2,

well i can understand where sourgirl is coming from . I also wondered about Toni popping in as soon as I opened this thread. I for my part came on this forum trying to make the right decision. I made an investment way over $8000, so i think it is my right to come in here and vent about it. my job requires that i look great  ( i am in the fashion industry) and for me it was as much of a professional move as a personal move.
turns out i have been had ... and when toni popped in i wasnt happy about what she had to say because i paid all this money.

there isnt much i can do but come on here and inform others of what happened.

Im still happy with the system ( but i found out others do it and for 5 or 6 times less than what i paid for it), but i had issues with it, which im trying to resolve.
first, it is still not as long as I originally asked
second, there was a piece on the very top of my head that didnt belong there because I am not bolding ...

So yes Sour girl, for the price i paid i shouldnt be looking for additional hair ( but Im looking to get my length back) and i should be happy but im not.

How would you feel if you just paid this much money ????

not too good, actually you would feel pretty SOUR.

I have no problem confirming my identity and job title privately if you would like.

this forum is about hair , and this is what this thread is about : VERY EXPENSIVE HAIR .

Malibu: on the paperwork they gave me before the procedure they said tips are appreciated and suggested $80... ( since they removed my old extensions for me ... i gave $100 )

had i known they overcharged me ( i paid more than $6000 , im too ashamed to admit how much i spent ) i would have never left a tip

and to answer your question on another thread ( not that i think it is any of your business): I paid sooo much money and still didnt get the length i wanted ... so wefts were temporarily going to be added to the existing net to create length until the custom made pieces i already have arrive.

I think it is my right to do whatever i want with my hair and for you to question it is way out of line .... i guess you didnt notice the other thread with a pic of the actual piece i have in my hair asking if anyone carried those???

Just my thoughts here, there is no hair in the world worth more than 6,ooo dollers, It is crazy just to think about spending that kind of money on hair. I rather invest in a nice wig, and forget about it!

Posted By: xianghua

Just a comment on tipping- it should be around 20%, even for a high bill.  I paid $1500 for my fusion extensions, and I tipped my stylist $300. She worked her a** off and deserved full compensation.

BeachBunny, I am sorry you got ripped off on your hair. It takes a lot of courage to say you spent so much money and did not get what you expected. I hope you make out better with whatever you get next time.

Posted By: BeachBunny
Date Posted: Jan 22, 2008 at 7:35pm
whatever poeple choose to spend on their hair is their prerogative and i dont think anyone is in any position to judge them.

If you would rather wear a wig go right ahead . unless you are a cancer patient I dont know why you would.

That is why the extensions business is such a huge industry. poeple want to look better... and if they can afford to get the best then why not?

personally im against breast implants ... but i wont go judge someone who just spent $20,000 on them and feels better about herself!

Posted By: malibu
Date Posted: Jan 22, 2008 at 7:48pm
Absolutely BeachBunny. You don't have to apologize for the amount you spent.
It's too bad you did spend so much but now you know better. Extensions are
a major learning process and unfortunately no matter how much you read here
you have to find the best method for you. My hair texture is not silky straight...I have curly / wavy hair so it's been a long experimental process and I've wasted money too.

As for JA firing you (tonim) while on disability...that sounds like a law suit.

Beach bunny no one is judging you on how much money you spent on your hair, If you look on what you first posted on the subject you were all for the salon, you even beat up tonim about it when she gave her opinion. I had no idea what you spent on your hair but u stated it was expensive. Expensive to me is $1000 where some it could mean $15,000, Tonim stated someone paid $36,000. All I was saying is if you were all for the method, then you were not which is understandable if its not how you wanted it. If I paid that kind of money I certainly would not go searching for sites for new hair, I would be at that salon in their face and have THEM find the hair you originally wanted. You do not have to tell me what a huge industry hair extensions are I have been doing it for years and i have had alot of mishaps as well. Whether its the stylist fault or the texture of my hair alot of methods didn't work out, but I make damn sure i do my investigating now. The bottom line is you had a bad experience at a hair salon and you stated that and I thank you for the heads up, however its been ingoing for a few days now and it makes me wonder.

Ok so i dont think you followed this well. Let me explain... I am happy with the actual system ( the concept is great and im sticking with it).

However... when i originally paid thousands for it, DCI said they have this patented and noone else in the world does this. that was their first lie: everyone in their area does it and they charge 4 times less than DCI.

Second Lie: they said my hair would last for 1 to 2 years, but they chopped it off before i could say BOO, they didnt let me look at myself in the mirror till they were done, so I ended being upset because we had agreed i would have hair up to my waist: then he said oh no hon' i wont have those till march... come back next week i will make it longer

Third Lie: went back and he made my hair about 2 inches longer just in the middle ( like a point) knowing i will be back for me.
i called him and said what the hell??? he said come back next week but this time it is a check up visit you will have to pay for the hair ( $2000 about)

Fourth lie: he put hair on my hairline ( which i dont need because I am not balding or thining ) and i later found out that it could make me go totally bald in areas where i never even had a problem.

So i did get upset initially at Toni ( because I didnt want to admit to myself that I made an idiotic move) and although i did find a great system i got totally screwed by the place that did it.
I had to face that whatever Toni was saying rang true ( especially the fact that they would keep issues open to keep you coming back for more...)

They left me wanting more .... and were planning on getting me to come back weekly to beg for length ( because they smelled money)

and like every single un saavy consumer ... i checked their complaints after i got screwed not before.

SOOOOO, im taking my losses ... left the place never going back... and now i have some similar pieces on order in 28' inches ( but they will take about 6 to 8 weeks) so my stylist suggested we put hand tied wefts until then so I can get some length... so it will cost me some more money just to get me where i want to be... it is so sad... but my hair is very important to me and the worst part is I was always known for my hair ( always the blonde girl with the beautiful long hair ...) now its just mid- back and it annoys the hell out of me ...

I hope I enlighted you on the situation and why the sudden switch ...

I hear ya, nothing hurts worse then getting manipulated, like I said I am glad you reported them, I live in NJ so thats right around the corner from me. I ordered some beautiful remi hair from www.wickedhairco.com and it still sof and silky I think it only comes in "22 but that is still very long. It sounds like they have quite a few unhappy clients and with the amount of money everyone is spending over there there is a potential for a class action law suit. If nothing else call CBS shame on you! ! B` lat`bd !(0 ` #2,

Thats a good idea... unfortunatly most of us that got this type of system in our hair ... dont necessarily want the world to know... The ladies that get this done dont usually do it for vanity ( although I DO) they do it because they have a health issue or poor hair ... and they usually pay this amount for the world to think that its their own ... i think that is why they never really got exposed.
Everything i found is 22" inches.... my great lengths were 22" and were soooo long. supposedly what i got in is 22" and its so short so I dont get it ....

Hello all, I just thought I would swing by and update you on my 2 months old install of the dots system. I have to say after all the drama and problems with the original company that installed it and the crappy job they did, since my new technician took over ( 2weeks after the original install) she has tweaked it to perfection. It is seamless and feels like its part of me. The maintenance is so easy, I hardly spend any time styling it. I dont have to worry about it blending with my own hair, it just does. Tightenings dont have to be so often, my personal preference is to get them sooner than suggested, but I hardly ever had a problem with them loosening up.
So overall I can call this a success story. I am very pleased with the system, and wouldnt trade it for any other ( I am soooo glad I am done with the GL bonds ).

I had and still have the microdot hair integration. My hair is totally ruined. I lost hair all over and have bald spots in the whole crown area. I was told it was Russian hair and spent over 10,000 and the unit is now on the floor of my closet. They both have a way of taking you in. She has a great sales pitch and he acts like a "father" to you. I've been depressed for so long. I had to have another unit made unfortunately using the dot method again. Its constantly pulling on your hair. Once you get involved with Russian hair, you can't go back to anything else. It never tangles and is like silk. Please be aware of people in this industry who can rob you blind.

I wish that Hawaiian Hair Extensiolns was located in NYC. I would love to go up and just be able to pick out and order what would be the best hair for me. I love the hair site and gave me more knowledge of the Russian hair.
