Hi--I'm new here, have been lurking for a while & have some questions.  I have naturally curly hair & made the mistake of frying it w/a curl reducer, so I got extensions until my natural curl can grow back (I'm thinking 3-4 years? Cry).

In any case, the extensions get very tangly & the result is when I comb it (wide tooth comb only of course) I lose a fair amount of hair getting through the knots.  So now I only comb it 2-3 times a day to save the hair I spent a fortune for.

After reading several posts about how lower quality hair tangles I'm wondering if I paid high quality pricing for low quality hair?  The woman who did it didn't match the textures well (for some reason she intermingled wavy w/curly, but my hair is very curly--think Andie McDowell curly) & she swore up & down it was Russian virgin.  I'm using someone new b/c the first woman did such a poor texture match (& wasn't a very nice person either), & the hair the new gal ordered for me is soft, beautiful, perfectly matches my natural curl & does seem to be less prone to tangling (scheduled to replace the wavy on Nov. 30--can't wait!).

So now, after spending $2000 on my first install I'm thinking I got ripped off.  Good color match, bad texture match.........bad quality hair as well?

P.S. sorry, tried to post a pic but stupid work firewall won't let me! Angry
