be mindful that it does not have to be scholars only-
Michael Jordon is talented and has resources to impact many people, that's how I came up with Dr. Dre. A tenth of our African American People is how many thousands? Our list should be very long, I was looking for current Black fortune 500, and CEO's....etc,  to add to my list.

I am inclined to agree about Farrakhan, he had our attention, and weilded that Million Man march, brothers went home and Farrakhan went to sleep on it.

Ok then my revised list:

Michael Jordan
Barack Obama
Oprah Winfrey
Spike Lee
Bob Johnson
El seti anu ali El
Don Cheatle
Cornel West
Collin Powell
Maya Angelou

I threw out Farrakhan because he had the opportunity to seize his destiny yet it remains unfulfilled.

So Jordan is stricken from the list....
So is Clarence Thomas for that matter. W.E.B. Duboise hoped that the tenth of the race was going to free our race from hell in America.

Question I searched several sources and could not come up with who the richest Black Man in America is, ((not Stedmand lol)) could not find it.

There were a couple names that I thought about after we started the list and Bill Cosby was at the top of that list. I see we are all on that page where he feels the same as I do about Hip Hop and the culture of people that it is creating. !!, Phgda`tr $ B` , `b

those are people who certainly have resources and have successfully made names for themselves......actually we discussed Farakhan.
he absolutely has something to offer.
Again the list is very long I am sure...there are everyday people who are resourceful and willing to "reach one teach one" and that is the Spirit of W.E.B Duboises idea of the Talented Tenth........of the Black Race.

u missed your calling....
ComedyLOL

But let's be concerned with wether or not he can offer something to uplift Black people...I think if he applied himself he could bring all sorts of empowerment,  into our Black mainstreams...
But we would have to get past his past...I think that may set some Black folks off....

Jamaica have I swayed you?

Yes you have but with Michael Jackson thats a big if he still has the mentality of an 8-year old being that he never had a normal childhood so thats up for review, Robert Johnson(CEO of BET) should be up there though for sure.

Aight Jordan did all that stuff for awhile but all that stuff was hidden from the public because he was the NBA's #1 meal ticket and the greatest player ever he still does alot for the youth though by building community centers and things like that.

See now this is a point that comes up with people period...
if your personal life is out of order what does that mean in r/t your interaction with the public
I agree...if he is still doing his thing with kids and stuff than why nock him?
I can't..

Word when MLK and Malcolm X died that left a void one that Jesse Jackson and Farrakhan could have stepped up and filled they both have failed to seize their destinies they both could have easily kept the ball moving and made a bigger impact than MLK and Malcolm X if they would have took advantage of the fact that they got killed it should have made our movement stronger.
