I have straight hair but would like to change it up. I have been thinking about getting a perm to spice it up. I want the option to have curly or straight hair....my hair does not hold a curl when I use the curling iron. I try not to use too much product in my hair because my hair is a little on the fine side. I would like some more volume to my 'do. I recently got a trim where I got all the dead ends cut off so it is very healthy. I am wondering if I should go with spiral curls or what I should do??? PLEASE HELP!!! ------------- **sarah** |

I can't tell you which would be the best way to go on perms. The last one I had was about 15 years ago. Whatever you do, make sure the person doing it knows what they're doing because it's easy to over-do it (especially if you have fine hair) and the hair will literally break off in chunks.
As for learning to care for curly hair, naturallycurly.com is excellent! They update once a month with new articles. They also have an archive so you can go back and read past articles.
