I am a plus size. I am also a petite. I have a hard time to find clothes that will fit and also be in my budget. I do not buy clothes that often because it is not in my budget. I got to save to buy a shirt or a pair of pants.  My mom get me clothes once in awhile .She is my size but taller. If the clothes fits her and the pants and shirt is short, She knows that it will fit me.
Is there any place that you can suggest for people that are on a budget and are plus size?
When I buy clothes I go to Lane Bryant.

Depends on how big you are.  If you're only like a size 14-16 you can find a lot of nice used clothes at the Goodwill or something.  If you're more like a 24-26 it can be harder to find clothes cheaply.  You could still look at the Goodwill or other secondhand shops, just your selection will be more limited.

I found Lane Bryant to be more money than I was willing to spend for clothes that I just didn't really like. Buying online could be a good way to go, try EBAY, or http://www.casual-plus.com/, Old navy stretch jeans are good, http://store.fashiontofigure.com, Fashion Bug, or Torrid. At any of those places you can get resonably priced clothing.

TARGET and Wal-Mart! Heck, anymore, Wal-Mart has great clothing! I found this adorable knit wrap dress there about a month ago, it looked exactly like something I saw at The Limited, only $50 cheaper.

It is also a good idea in traditional stores and is to shop for out of season clothing. Many stores will give special offers for clothing that is not presently in season and you just have to be willing to buy a thick jacket in the summer or a swimsuit in the winter.
