I'm 28 years old.  I landed a job a few months ago where the dress code ranges between casual to business casual.  Professional attire is encouraged.  Since our local May Department stores (Strawbridge's and Lord & Taylor) were bought by Fedearted (Macy's and Bloomies) and closed there don't seem to be as many options.  I'm also really missing Petite Sophisticates which was Casual Corner's petites store that sold the same stuff but for us short ladies.

Anyway, I'm stuck in a rut of jeans, teas, and button down shirts.  Yet wherever I go the prices are too high, or the clothes are too provocative, or they don't have my size.  I'm not only short but thin.

What I want to know is where I can find affordable, fashionable clothing appropriate for an office.  And if you know of a good store for petites, please let me know.

If you live in a major city, there are all kinds of petite stores for women. If you live in a small town, maybe you will have to go to a larger city. %,

Ann Taylor, department stores, Kohl's. I tend to always browse the sale & clearance racks when I'm out shopping as you never know what you'll find that will be a great addition to your wardrobe.
