Try applying it to wet hair and sealing the moisture in w/ a bit of oil (optional).  When your hair dries it will be so soft.

I use it to moisturize my new growth and it's also a key ingredient to my homemade leave-ins.!(( ac` @``a, 2 "2,"0 " .!,!( , , BR <

When I was relaxed, I basically applied it to my hair from the ear level to the ends to protect my hair while bunned.

I have been using S-Curl for a little while now. I use it when I put my hair in a bun mostly. I tried using it when I roller set my hair (on my new growth), but by the next morning my hair is still some what wet... Is any one else experiencing this? It seems to be only when I use the S-Curl. Maybe I need to set it eariler in the night? $$ )'fat$Pa )%2`b /28"b -. , , -,,)-% br -"

It depends on an individual's hair, such as the thickness and length of the hair.  My hair is about 10 inches long, and a couple pumps is all that I need to use. (

Claudie,You apply only two pumps directly to hair or do you rub it in your hands first and then apply?

Anyone/Everyone, Can it be applied to dry hair as a strengthner?

Yes it can be applied to dry hair ladyflash.  I use it as a moisturizer and it makes my hair so soft.

I guess I over did it then....lol
I thought it could be setting lotion......

Hi Ladyflash, I part my hair from ear to ear.  I do one squirt for the back, and one squirt for the front.  Then I seal with jojoba or castor oil.  This amount is good for me.  Because I apply it to dry hair, and I do not want my hair to get overly wet. (

I'm so happy I read this thread, because I was just about to mix my glycerin with my setting lotion...that would have been a disaster!

But I do like the way it makes my natual roots feel.  There's gotta be a compromise here.  Maybe I'll set my hair overnight, using a bit of water/glycerin mixture (the main ingredients in S-curl activator)  Then sit under the hair dryer in the morning to make sure it's dry.

I'll let you know how it turns out.
