I couldn't remember off of the top of my head, so I have to ask you guys. I recently had my hair bleached pretty light, and now it's yellowy. I want it to be a light blonde, so using an ashy toned colour should counter-act the yellow, correct?

If the ash color has a violet base.  Remember that violet is across from yellow on the color wheel. Good luck!
