I want Boobs so bad, I'm a thick Girl, (Everything but my boobs) and I hate that, So ive been thinking about getting them. My fiance doesn't want me to get them My dad tells me I'm crazy, My grandma tells me they're gonna grow when I have babies (but they're gonna get small again). I want them so bad. Does anyone have them and do they feel that much different than natural? Should I get them? lilalicious38842.5201273148

I can tell you about me gf, she was A-ish which was fine with me. But almost from the day I met her I knew she was unhappy with her breast size. She saved her money, shopped for a doctor she and the the fun started. She went back 3 time to try on boobs...lol. The last time she took a tight tee shirt, regular blouse, a snug sweater and a digital camera. I made signs with the various cc's maked on them, taped them to the wall and took pictures of her in each top. We then printed them and she/we studied them until she settled on the right size. A month later she had the operation and has loved the new friends ever since.

5 years later she says she would have gone a touch larger but that seems to be a common thought with implant-ee's....lol

From a guys side of implant surgery, I think it hurt more than she thought it would but she would do it again. Her self confidence and body image is WAY better, therefor sex it too. She dresses much nicer and doesn't have such a hard time finding clothes... or swim suits. OMG, I use to hate for summer to come just because I knew she/we woudl be swim suit shopping.. well thats all in the past... I LOVE TO GO NOW! Now and then if the store isn't too crowded... she will come out and model for me...lol!

As for how they feel... they are a little firmer.. but the look SOOOO much better! Because she likes them better...she likes that I like them better....if that make sense.

If you want them and can afford them... get 'em!

i have them. i've had them for about 3 years now. i was a B, before baby and shrunk down to an A afterwards. My boyfriend begged me not to get them but I did it anyway. I got 450 cc's which took me to a large C/small D. It is painful afterwards and you have to do these painful exercises to push them around but afterwards it's not so bad.

I've adjusted to them and I love the look in clothing but sometimes I wish I had my old chest back. Most tops look great but in some tops they look too perky. It's also a b..ch trying to sleep at night. You have to sleep on your back cause you have 2 balloons preventing you from sleeping on your stomach

and it's tricky sleeping on your side. I guess overall I'm happy but if I could do it again I would get the softer ones (which I don't think are approved in the US)

I have them too for about 2 years now. I agree about softer ones AND it was said on TV that the silicone ones inserted over the chest muscles look and feel better. My friend is thinking of getting them too and she was told to wait untill she gives birth to baby first. because you'll get some sagging after pregnancy and breast feeding.

I would worry about long term problems though. There are many that have been documented and even if you have no problems you apparently you have to get them replaced every 10 years or so (I read that recently). That is a huge financial and medical commitment. Mine actually grew (a lot) when I got over 40. I was an A earlier in life and now I am a C. I used to want implants. What size bra do you wear? Unfortunately, part of the problem is that when everyone starts getting them, then average size people tend to look small. I wear a "barely B" size bra when I'm not nursing, and I don't think I'd ever want implants. They can curtail you a little bit if you run or are involved in serious sports (not saying that they can't work, but if you don't have big breasts naturally, you might be adding problems to your life).

What is your reason for wanting them?

I used to be a 34a. Now I am a 38c. I have gained some weight (about 12 pounds) which obviously accounts for some of the growth but not all. I was suprised and so was my husband. $ S bd`ter - ,,bb - 0b` /4! $(!, $- $%%, ` "6

Well, I used to wear 34D and tihis is the size I'm wearing now. After I breast fed my daughter for 9 months my breasts got one size smaller and started looking down south.

So, I had both brest lift and breast augmentation to return the original look.

i had breast implants march of 99.

I wanted them for YEARS. Finally thanks to my hubby, i got them!

I had a good dr who is in the north shore of Boston. I instantly connected w/him and his staff and it was done!

It was sore for the first two days. Was I in pain? No! Discomfort? yes. I went from 36a (barely that) to a D. I do not look like balloon or like i have life preservers on my chest. they look appropiate and when people meet me they are shocked to find out! They look natural-

I had surgery on a Thurday and drove to my post op appointment on Monday(20miles one way), WITHOUT A PROBLEM.

This is not for everyone, do your homework and be realistic about what you want. MANY people go too small and regret not going bigger.

Life is so unfair!!!!LOL. The ones who don't have them want them, and the ones who have them don't want them. I'm a 36C(and when I gain weight they get almost to a D) and I hate it. I would love to have smaller breasts, and if it wasn't for the ugly scars, I've would've had a breast reduction. Everyone tells me I'm crazy, and that there are tons of women out there paying good money for what I have. My ex got so mad at me for even suggesting that I wanted a reduction, that he threaten to get breast implants if I had mine reduced LOL.

Don't get me wrong, my breast look very good, is not like they are sagging or anything. I actually have people asking me "are those yours", or "where did you get them done". I think is hysterical that some people even think I'm lieying when I tell them they are natural. They give me that "yeah right look". I just always dreamed of smaller breasts. One time when I really got into strenght training and aerobics they shrank to almost a large B. I was so happy. I even had to go buy new bras because my C's were now too big for me. But that didn't last long. Thank God at least he gave me the butt and the hips to go with it, and a small waist, so at least I have proportion.

Sarcastically my little sister, who has the most beautiful body in the world, I mean you could see her six pack 4 months after she gave birth to her baby and the girl doesn't do a single seat up, is an A cup. And me and my other sisters are saving to surprise her with the implants she's been crying about for years. I'm always kidding about how I'm gonna give her half of mine.

Is all she can think and talk about. And she doesn't even want them big. She wants like a large B. Fortunatelly my mom is an interior decorator and has a furniture factory in the Domincan Republic. So she knows tons of people including the best plastic surgeons there. The guy who does all the misses for the beauty pageons is close friends with her. So if we want surgery, we don't have to pay for it. All we have to is come up with the money to buy the implants and pay the anesthesiologist (sp?). But the surgery itself and the clinic stay is free.

So hopefully by December that will be her X-mas surprise.

I know how important it is for her, and she knows all the risks and has done her research. She decided she still wants them, and we decided to support her. If it is going to make you happy, and boost your selfsteem, I say go for it.

I do have to say

i was sore afterwards but not in pain. I was on painkillers maybe total 24hrs. I had it done on a Thursday and was driving to my post op on Monday. I could not lift my arms up high at all for a while - to wash my armpits ,that hurt- so hubby got that lucky job! hehee.

With in a week i was good to go.

I have considered them...but i think im going to try all the brava like devices out there first! lol i just dont like the way they feel :s and usually if youre young and you get implants they look too perky. I was watching 90210 doctor or something similar with all the plastic surgeons and one lady had hideous breasts (about an a cup and SAGGY) and when she had them done, wow they looked incredible and completely natural.

There are like,4 people in my family who have them,including my little sister. I used to want them,but knowing what i know now,I wouldnt. You are supposed to replace them every 5-10 years because of the very high risk of bacteria growing or the implant rupturing. Most people dont realize they are NOT lifetime devices. There are hundreds of websites of women with these horrible stories about them.

Having said that,they are close to approving a new kind of implant called the "gummy bear" implant,which is supposed to be MUCH better then the saline and without the risks of the old silicone ones. A much safer,implant,that's also supposed to look and feel better.

I got lucky,I was only an A when I was younger. Now I'm a small C which is more then enough for me. My husband isnt a boob man anyways ;)

I totally support anyone who does it,but do your homework first! make sure you have money saved incase something goes wrong with them.

There are people with bad stories about everything out there. The # of women w/bad stories out there are less than 3% of the of the women that have breast implants.

Saline is water- its what is in IV in hospitals and totally body friendly.

Its not for everyone and you need to do your homework. Find out pros and cons on it. Make sure your dr is certified in this and that he does this plastic surgery and not 10 other types along with doing breast implants.

you need to replace breast implants 10-15 year not 5-10yrs.

Less then 3%? Go online and just hit search for women with breast implant horror stories and the list goes on and on...! I think it's a little more then 3%.

Saline is not completely safe~it is supposed to be kept at room tempreture and the human body is alot hotter then that,so the chance for bacteria to grow is a possibility. Women have stories of getting their implants out and they have been BLACK with bacteria.

Most women have a problem have the problem within the first 3 years is what I read on the FDA website. And every year after 5 years the risks go up as to when you may need them replaced.

I do have 4 women in my family with them (but one has silicone,not saline)

They are very well off money wise though,so if they have a problem they can afford it...not everyone who gets them is though.

Look,I'am not against breast implants~I actually went to a consultaion to get them.But when they handed me a two inch packet of all the things that could go wrong~I opted against it. You can say they are safe all you want,alot of others disagree,and I guess myself I just wouldnt take that risk. It would be just MY luck that something bad would happen. Then again,I'am not made of money either.And the fact most insurances will not help you if you DO have a problem with your implants was enough for me to say no.

3% of women how have breast implants is 1000's actually 10 of 1000's. There are horror stories no matter what operation you get - from nose jobs to bunion surgeries to hip replacement, pacemakers to getting chemotherapy.

The clue is do to your homework.

Insurances wont cover any plastic surgery for anything except Breast reduction (not from implants).

As i have stated before you need to do your homework.
