OFT-USED ACRONYMS, ABBREVIATIONS, OR TERMS, arranged in logical groupings and not A-Z
CO= Conditioner Only: a wash method that substitutes a light cheap drugstore conditioner for the shampoo. COW-C = ConditionerOnly + Wash + Conditioner (which is actually diluted shampoo with conditioner mixed in it, looks like a milkshake) WO= water only (I tend to call it WO for Water Only because OW tends to be associated with COW) CWC= Condition, Wash, Condition: a hair washing method that involves applying a light conditioner before shampooing, shampooing as usual, and finally applying your regular conditioner. WC= Wash, Condition (the traditional method)
Cone = silicone (see this thread for explanation) S/C= shampoo and conditioner SKR = Sun-Kissed Raspberry (a V05 brand conditioner available worldwide, silicone free and good for CO) SM&H / Suave M&H= Suave Milk&Honey SCS / Suave CS = Suave Citrus Smoothie KLG= Kirkland Lemon Gingerroot SUE= socked-up end, referring to occasions where the end of a braid is sock-curled
Neutral henna = cassia obovata = cassia Henna = BAQ (body art quality) henna = lawsonia inermis Amla = indian gooseberry ACV= apple cider vinegar BBB= boar bristle brush
