I've been debating to order from them - apparently, they wholesale to hairpiece.com.

At least, that's what they informed me . I've never ordered from overseas before, so I'm pretty leery about it. Hmm.  But the price for the toppers are amazing! (lil over 60 bux, when i paid 180 from hairpiece)

Well, this is our first email from Xu:

(i checked westernunion.com, and the estimate for transferring money via them is about 50 bux ...i honestly have NO idea what a t/t or a l/c is hehee )

Hairhumanhair is one of my suppliers at this time.

Fast delivery (UPS is the problem)....

I never tried the hair, as I only use hair without silicone coating.

They respond fast to my emails, and the prices are TOP!

I always pay with western union, shipping time for hair is about 10-15 days, if you only order accessoires, 7 days.....

T/T is the normal bank wire transfer, and the costs are approx. the same as when you pay with western union (I love western union, it soo fast)

The hotpot/box?

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=88 580&item=7173115155&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

You can melt some glue (keratin sticks) in it, and it gets really liquid, so you can bond your lose hair straight from the hotpot to your own hair.

This model does not get so hot, I don't like it very much, but hairhumanhair has also other types of the hotpot.

And you can use fusion sticks to melt, or you buy the little boxed filled with glue....

http://www.hairhumanhair.com/hair_extension_kips.htm

No, I mean the black box that says "connector"

I wonder if that is like the hotbox system, which I think is some form of extension attachment? Not sure, but the one that hairhumanhair has for sale is cheap. I'd love to know how to use it. Great lengths has one similar and I heard that they charge $1500 to their own hairdressers for one of those boxes. I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but I'm dying to find out!

All chinese suppliers use pictures of other suppliers and firms...

I order every month in china and know lot of factorys, and non of them has their own pix...

But hairhumanhair is great....

When you want to place an order, the stuff is okay, and you can trust this supplier

Thank you for the responses girls!!

Aeone, yip, I would definitely say hairpiece buys from them.
Great prices!!

Marie, I sent another email regarding payment as you asked.
Probably only bank wire or WU is accepted as he states. I
usually send a wire from my bank and it costs $30-$35 and
takes 24-48 hours for them to receive the money

I have seen that box.The woman who was going to do great lengths almost identical to it.I'm not sure exactly how it works though.I know its the older version.Cause they have one thats called the ultrasonic. I guess those familiar with great lengths might have more insight.

I found that T/T has been cheaper to use than Western Union. And Western Union can be a pain in the butt for the reciever. T/T is deposited right to their bank account.

Ya, Sherrie, I'm in! I want that black box if it's what I think it is. (from greatlengths)

Longhair, if you look on greatlengths website, they have three different models of the boxes (connector, or whatever you want to call them) and your right, one is the ultrasonic and the black one is the older model.

Izabel, hope your hand is OK! Did you have to get stitches?

Aeone, you wear a topper too? When I was going to the hairdresser to get my "topper" glued on, they charged me between $800-$1,000 for a new one. They lasted about a year, but I would have to get hair added on for a couple hundred bucks, plus the installation fee which was $80 per month, and I would have to keep two on hand so I could switch off when one was in the "shop." I think I was using this method for about six years. I have a huge bald ring around my head from glue placement that is finally growing in! Although I'm doing all my own installations now, I still need toppers, which I buy at hisandher for like $80-100! And they are much smaller than the ones I was getting from my hairdresser too.

elvira -

yes i do wear toppers, too :D

I've been progressively thinning since i was ..umm, 15? 16? Seems like forever, at any rate (i'm 25 now).  I didn't know a thing about toppers and hairpieces till about 7-ish months ago!  I saw Jenny_R mention closure pieces and toppers sold at hairpiece.com, then I got some opinions on the wigsupport group, and decided to get the Apex one first ...and lemme tell ya, that thing I got was *not* love at first sight, it looked like a dead rat laying in a box :p

It got tremendously better after a scrub and a good condition, tho hehe    ...But yea, I've been pretty much looking for cheap, well-made pieces (how are the his&her ones, btw?) - I've found I'm pretty rough on 'em - I jacked up this current one - dye on the rim, pokies on the mesh underneath, you name it ;) I'm kinda forced into wearing it in a updo all the time, now

I have three from HisandHers. I have my own hair in the back from my ears down to almost my shoulders, but I have extensions. (at the moment glued in wefts) and the topper I have glued in with LG glue also. Blends quite nicely, and I am rough on hair too. I have dyed them, cut them, you name it! I am really glad I found them too, thanks to everybody on this board. Oh, I like the ones from H&H but I would try another brand. I did just order fake bangs from HairUwear (I think that's who I ordered from) I have no hair of my own for bangs!

I like wearing the small topper and then extensions in addition.

Marie~ I just got an email back from Mr Liu with your Q.....
I would say if you are going to order from him that you would
save $15-$20 by wiring directly through your own bank as WU
is a little more expensive.

Thanks for your information,
we don't accept credit cards or paypal,we accept of bank
transfer or the western union transfer.

Xuecai Liu

Elvira~ Still waiting for my other email to be answered about
the connector. Will post as soon as I hear anything. I don't think
this is even an older GL unit... as the GL units have the name
written on all the units . I think this is one that resembles the unit
but it is a different model, brand entirely from what I can see.

Going through the bank is very easy and it's flat rate. Western Union can be a bad choice if your purchase price is high. They charge you a percentage of what you send. Also, it's difficult on the receiver's end so most don't like getting their money that way. The really bad part is there's a lot of fraud with sending money overseas and there's no recourse if your order never materializes. This guy sounds pretty reliable, especially if he's sending to the big companies here. He's got a lot of stuff and a buttload of BSS hair. :/

What's a topper?

And what's this?

Do you peel it back and stick it on your hair kind of like gluing on a weft? Does it last and is it reusable?

Oh, and what is that fusion wand thing that looks like it's connected to a big box?

I'm going to order from this guy.

If anyone wants anything, let me know what and how much and I'll put it on my order which will go out on the 10th. $- P cn`dp0% 00BB .(4`p /.!( ),))%!,,%$<"b .4

Amm I definitely would like to try a few of their products. I know the pictures are generic of the hair and alot of other products as well, and I even seen a few of the photos from hair21. I guess alot of these foreign companies use generic pictures? Anyway as cheap as those prices are its worth it for me to test some of it! Amm, that's basically what a topper is on the link above. I don't have much hair on top, so I wear that and blend in with my extensions.

I still don't understand what the black box does! I think it heats up the fusion wand? I don't know why you would need such a big box, but they had something like that when I got Great Lengths done. It must do something else?

I don't know about that stick on hair either. Was that on their website, I'll check it out.

I'm going to place an order soon too, as soon as I find out about the black box. I must have one, I'm obsessing, and I don't even know what it does yet! But I gotta have it!

Posted By: FinaFina
Date Posted: Aug 1, 2005 at 9:05am

OOOh this is (potentially) exciting!!! Amm - I'd like to get in on the order too! I'll also help with the t/t fees. It looks like you can specify if you want "piano" color also - i.e. on your 90cm weft you can specify 2 colors for a minor upcharge. . .

That black box is *exactly* like what they use for Great Lengths. I never could exactly figure out what the number was that was flashing. It wouldn't make sense if it was the temperature - the GL one was always at like "25.2" to "25.5". That would only be like 80 degrees (max).

Amm~These skin wefts are super flat. They are attached to the
head with double-sided liner tape and many use an additional
adhesive just to get that extra hold. The hair is injected into 1/4

The Microshells are the same as Hairlocs! They have the "sharp" end... Are the Pro Tubes thicker without that sharp end, or similar to hairlocs and dinkie links?

I have ordered and today they arrived. I asked for S Size and it is just the normal size, too big for me.

Similar to dinks and hair locks. But I have a lot of clients and myself that do very good with these.

I have ordered the "shell Microrings" for 12$ and I got the same as dinkies and hairlocs.

Are the protubes a little bit thicker? Do they have the sharp end, or are they just a tube?

The hairlocs/flare Microrings have the sharp ends, and I don't like that....Lot of my ebayer love them....They are really thin, but last time Liu told me he can deliver also small size. I got the normal size  I wanted to have them in a smaller diameter, he said he can produce... (grrrrrr)

Here are the dinkie links or I call it in my shop Micro Tubes

And they are made of copper... So I dont know about turning green on blonde hair...

Tell me more about the protubes.......

Posted By: marie87
Date Posted: Aug 3, 2005 at 2:33pm
Pro tubes seem just a bit harder or thicker they are not copper which is why they are thicker( copper is very thin). I have just been closing them flat with the pro tool I got from HP and they stay great. I think the crimping causes a bit more damage. Plus they feel less noticble flat. The ones from Hair Extend are the same as Pro fom HP but Price is not H E is 100 for $20 and H P is 250 for $40. But the price on this site WOW !!!!!

Izabella~Oh, the flare micro rings have sharp edges....then I
don't want that!! I think he doesn't have Pro Tubes then. I asked
if he had the 2.5mm ones, he said he has the smaller ones...but
after reading your post I'm not so sure. I ended up asking him
for a picture, that's the only way to tell if they are the Hairpiece
Pro Tubes. They are pretty thin and are just a long tube. I really
don't think the edges are sharp on Pro Tubes. I really like how
flat they lay....they remind me of a colored "Mark Barrington
Shrink Link" when flattened. I have the 2.5mm (wide) and they
are about 6mm (length). They are made of copper according to
the HP site.

Marie~ Has the Pro Tubes changed your clients hair color at
all...in the blondes?

Izabella take a look at the Pro Tubes here.......do you think Mr
Liu has them?

Pro tubes are not copper scratch them they any the color of steal. So no they never turn green. This is for both tubes from HP and hair extend. I don't think that they eaven know what they have If you say are they copper they just say yes thinking this is what you want

On hairhumanhair there is no minimum order. But you have to order 1000 Microrings or Tubes... You can order hair how much you want, and for all other accessiores there is no minimum.

But they made some mistakes with my last orders.

The Microrings were dark brown instead of light brown, small Microrings each glass 200 pieces were missing...

And the needles, oh my god, the needle fell out of the holder...

This time, I ordered some new pliers for microrings, the last ones, the pliers were so sharp, that they damaged the microrings...

This time it is okay, but I am still looking for a faster supplier...

LOL.... Marie, this is funny......Okay, so I just call HP and said
that I have a client who is allergic to copper and I need to
double check that the Pro Tubes are made of copper, as I
heard they maybe weren't. The guy who answered
said...."huh,....well....they are not really copper...really, they are
an alloy of sorts, they are a compound of different alloys you
know". (heehee). So I said that he needs to be sure as I don't
want my client getting a reaction......he puts me on hold!!!
Comes back and said ..."oh, you were asking about Pro Tubes
right..? .....they are definitely copper....don't use them if your
client is allergic to copper"

I have to say: All chinese suppliers tell you, what you want to hear....

That is sad, but they also just want to make "good business" as they tell me all the time....

On my pack of "links" is this:

Micro Links ( Exten Tube)

Type: CU (copper!!!)3430 shell

So, it is 100% copper, and there is only one size availible...

Sometimes the chinese drive me crazy

Hey Sas, I just went up and scratched the tubes! My mistake HP are copper !!I have only bought these once I thought they were just like my tubes from hair extend but they are not .The HE are steel -silver when strached I guess I will pay the extra and order from HE but the pro tubes are just a bit smaller. Maybe I will just not order from HP for blonds.

Hahaha. Marie,....what was I doing as well......scrapping off all
the paint on the Pro Tube.......yup definitely copper on
Hairpiece.
Marie can you please post the link to HE....if you don't mind.
That's interesting that there's is steel......i wish they weren't so
expensive though.

Izabella....you are so right....these suppliers confuse the heck
out of you. Mr Liu as you see is telling me he has Pro
Tubes...yes, this is ours..flare micro rings.....2 sizes...yes....and i
guarentee now that they are not. I am still waiting for him to
send me a picture of them to confirm this. Did you look at the
tubes on the Hairpiece site....seen anything like these?

Okay girls, the mission is to find the Pro Tubes

questions with him and get the quote and shipping cost. It can be
divided up before the order goes in. There's also the Paypal fees to
consider so plan on bumping that up to cover the percentage they'll

sends the incorrect color of something, you'll have to follow up with
him.

I plan on getting some of those seamless wefts with the tape to try.
They look interesting.

re: Dinkie Links/flared microrings. These are the same size, color,
material and same flare on the bottom as Hairlocs shells. Some say
they are not the same but I don't see any difference between them
whatsoever.

I put in a dozen or so large Dinkie Links with PH on my last install.
They held perfectly and there were no sharp edges. They were easy
to close, easy to reopen and my hair did not turn green. I mangled
one just to see the color underneath and indeed it was copper. There
was no damage to my own hair but, frankly, I only wore them for
about a month or so and don't feel that was a long enough time to
really evaluate them. They're super easy for short term wear and a
few fun color strands. I would wear them any day over extentubes
and microrings because of their ease of reopening.

Also, (and this is just my opinion on them) I would never reopen
these, move the hair strand up and then reclose them. I feel once
that copper is exposed, you're risking damage to your hair and
having it turn green.

Small Dinkie Links (or these flare rings) are another matter. They are
SO small in diameter, the hair tips have to be extremely thin. I also
had problems with reopening and they pinched down with the sharp
corner. I do not recommend them. I am returning mine to where I
got them and they are exchanging them for the larger at no charge. amm38567.929375 $- P cn`dp0% 00BB .(4`p /.!( ),))%!,,%$<"b .4

He sent me a picture of what he said was the same product as
Pro Tubes. I sent him the Pro Tube pic earlier this week so I
was very hopefully he did have them. Definitely not the same!! it
was the same picture Izabella posted but in the same color I
sent him......haha...how on earth could he say they were the
same???

Sorry Marie~ No Go!!

Anyway,....it was worth a shot!! here is his response.....

AM would you mind sending me a couple of the small dinkie links to check out-

the dinkie links and the links this guy has are the same - the pro tubes are very much like the hairlocs - both are differnt though-

dinkie are thinner and a tad bit wider,

pro and hairlocs are thicker and stronger. I have used both and prefer hairlocs and protubes. Does anyone know if pro tubes come in a smaller size?

Hey guys, just thought I'd post a reply to an email I send off asking a few questions:

Hello,
I was wondering how much the human hair colour ring shown on your website is, and also whether the stick hair is remy (are the cuticles intact and aligned?). Also, I am not able to tell whether the stick hair is available in every colour shown or if some colours are just for the bulk hair.

the response:

Thanks for your response,
our human hair color ring have 26 color, its prices is 16$/set.
the stick hair is 100% remy human hair.
the stick hair is available in every coulor shown.
looking forwards for your early reply.

I still have a couple more questions to figure out, but after that I'll have to go and put together an order :)

I'm just curious what eveyone is doing on this order. I'm def. interested in the stick hair, but want to try out the virgin single drawn too. However, they sell it by the kilogram. That's a little over 35 ounces! 24" of their grade A virgin single drawn is 195 bucks for a kilogram. Would anyone else be interested in going in? I only wear my hair 16" but I know most of you like longer, and that still leaves room to trim yucky ends.   sansconformist38571.3586574074

Okay Marie,....I got this just a few minutes ago. I take it they do
have Pro Tubes but they need to be custom ordered, but he
has none in stock.....I guess those were copper. Is this what he
is saying now? The part about the flare rings not having a flare
end and are pro tubes??? I have no idea where he is going
with this....the flare ring pic he sent me a few days ago were
definitely flared???

Thanks for your inform,
about the pro tubes:
actual the flare micro ring end don't flare------it actualy is the
pro tubes.
the type of pro tubes need custom, we have no stock.
we only have stock of aluminium pro tubes,

Izabella I can't get images to load on my Mac...that's why I was
sending the pic to Marie....maybe she can load it. Really, they
still don't look like Pro Tubes what he sent but he claims to
have them. I wrote back to clarify he did have them and they
were just out of stock right now.....and if they had to be made to
order. I asked if he could make the tubes 2.5mm(wide) and
6mm(length) like the smaller Pro Tubes.

This was his response.....

Thanks for your inquiry again,
we have Pro Tubes but you have none in stock, it is right.
we have stock still the client come to purchase it .

Here ya go girls........

I asked Mr Liu did you mean 8,000 units? HeeHee...I tried
guys!!

Thanks for your inquiry,
the minimum order quatity is 80000units/per color.
such us: color: black , size: 2.5mm*6mm ----------80000units
the cost of 80000units: 1000units/1 bottle---12$/1 bottle---80*
12=960$
these color are come in: black , dark brown ,brown, light brown,
dark blonde ,blonde , light blonde , auburn, etc.
we ensure to supply you 2.5mm*6.0mm size and made with
copper.
because it must be custom , so the minimum order quantity is
80000units/per color.
looking forwards for your early reply.
Best Regards
Xuecai Liu

So it's $960 for 80,000 custom made 2.5mm/6mm copper
tubes. Hairpiece sells for $40 for 250 Pro Tubes.......so they
obviously had to order 80,000 units per color too. That's 320
packets(250 each pac) @ $40 =$12,800 retail price minus real
cost $960 = $11,840....nice little profit for Hairpiece.com!! I
highly recommend you girls with online shops to think about
investing in Pro Tubes.

You have some customers right here!!

Here is an update on the pro tube HUNT!! Four more
companies to look at

Posted By: Izabella120578
Date Posted: Sep 3, 2005 at 5:33pm

I remember to had contact with zinok, I ordered some samples.. The hair is not really good and they have only the normal microrings on the website... I think our honeys who want to sell, tell you everything you want to hear....

Maybe I'm wrong, but he also has awful prices for his "chinese" hair...

Posted By: TanglesRC
Date Posted: Sep 3, 2005 at 9:11pm

geesh so many different companys telling us what we want to hear huh?

ok heres my opinion on the shells/tubes

Hairpiece sells the protubes in large and medium size, i personally prefer the medium size, they are smaller and Ep hair fits very nicely as well as hairlocs hair.

the cost is $40 per 250

if anyone can beat that price, i would be interested in possibly going in on a larger order, say 5-8 bottles of 1.000 Per color- i could use brown, dark brown and blonde colors, BUT they have to be indentical to the hairpiece shell.

Anyone interested in going in on a larger order let me know- is there anyway they can send us a sample? all i need is one sample to know if i like them

Hi Sand,

Well I.E Trading are the only ones to claim to have them in
stock and ready to ship....20,000units per order. I have asked
him for a picture of them, which he said he will send me
tomorrow.

Hairhumanhair (80,000 units)Henan(50,000) and Zinok
(estimate 5,000 per month) and ECPLAZA (60,000-100,000)
have all got to custom make them for us. They won't give
samples as they have to manufactuer them for us per order. So
I am thinking getting samples may be impossible.

Honestly, I don't know who to trust?????....most of them seem
to have no pics of the pro tubes.

As soon as I hear back from IE Trading with a picture I will post
and let you know if they are infact the pro tubes we are looking
for. Maybe you want to quizz them too. Maybe the minimums
will drop with more interest.

I agree with you Sand.....if they are not identical to hairpiece pro
tubes then I'm not interested.

with all the emails I received, websites, email addresses and
contact persons for all the 5 companies.

I just sent an email to each one with a picture of the pro tubes
attached from hairpiece.com and asked if they stock/
manufactuer these exact copper 2.5mm(wide) X 6mm(length)
pro tubes. I asked for them to give all details, cost, minimum
requirement order, picture (or sample of tubes would be better)
to confirm they are the same product, colors available,
Shipping costs, expected delivery time and payment details.

I have personally found that when I forward a photo and ask for the identical item, I get a resounding "we have that!" in response. I've rarely had luck getting exactly what I wanted.

However, when I explain what I want and ask *them* first to send me a picture of the product, I usually see something different than what I wanted. I can't tell you how much money I've saved doing it that way instead.

I'm floored to see the minimum order amount on some of these items. I was working with one guy who gave me an 80 package minimum order on hair and I was thinking that wasn't so bad. When I wrote back to confirm, he said, "no, not 80 packages total. 80 packages of EACH color!" There were like 30 colors on the ring. That was the night my husband found me on the floor passed out with little x's for eyeballs. $- P cn`dp0% 00BB .(4`p /.!( ),))%!,,%$<"b .4

YEAH!!! FOUND THE PRO TUBES!!!!

Sand~I just got a picture from Ethan at I.E TRADING.....it's pro
tubes!! I have asked him to send me one or two just to verify
that is is infact the same material. Do you want me to send you
the email with the picture of them? The picture shows them in
Dark Brown. Brown, Light Brown, Beige, and Black.

Now, only thing is he wants 20,000 per order. So we have to try
and work on bringing the 20,000 way down if we can. So, he is
the one I would email first. The others just did not convince me
they even could make them the same and they want much
more for their minimum order requirements

If we can't get him down then I'm sure the big companies/online
stores will be reading this info and ordering themselves...so it
can only drive the prices down. Save~A~Stray38600.8610532407
