yeah the software that comes with it lets u copy tracks from cds or your computer to the disc
you connect the player with disc inside to the pc with a usb cable
and the discs are rewritable
so its like having cd-rs, but smaller
i laugh when i see people still walkin around with cd players

why pay $50+ for a cd player thats big and ugly and can't fit in ya pocket so u gotta hold it
not to mention cd's cant hold that much data so u gotta carry around 5cds just to get thru the day....

Yo I just got da Ipod wit 30 Gigz and if you just drop it once it won't work and you'll have to get da software off da net again...
Plus if you run out of battery you have to send it to Apple and get it opened up and get installed agian..
(Da battery lasts for like 1-2yrs)
