I remember a post a while back saying that their hair was rubbish but I need to say ladys her hair is stunning. I got a sample a few weeks ago then recently bought a pack. It doesnt tangle or go frizzy when washed. It runs a bit higher than bohyme imo. The girl is also very friendly
Anyone else tried it?

ello ladies, i have bought from salvagestock and softgentlebreeze as well as some other hair sellers on ebay. i found salvages hair to be gorgous, its very soft silkyness and washes great, breezes hair on the other hand i found to be like a straw consistancy, very rough, i dont know how this washed as i never used it and still have it now. maybe it was a bad batch from breeze i dont know as i never bought again but i buy from salvage thru email now when i want too as its cheaper direct than buying thru ebay as her auctions are just toooo popular! Just a quick question if i can as im new to the boards, i have never used shrinkies before - are they the same as microlinks? Shaz

same here. i bought from softgentlebreeze and the hair was very coarse, like straw and had lots of split ends.
Salvage stock on the other hand is great. I am so impressed with her hair! i will defo buy it again. Im going to buy direct also. I hope she doesnt go anywhere. I've been looking for "THE" hair for ages, racoon was my favourite but its way over priced. I gave salvagestocks hair 5 washes with shampoo and no conditioner and i could still run my fingers straight through it , no tangles, no frizz.

I read it to Amanda but i have her hair and its great. I asked her for a sample a few weeks ago and when it came it was super shiney and i though it may have been a coating but we washed it in the salon 5 times with shampoo only and no conditioner and it was still silky and didnt tangle. So i bought a hair from one of their auctions and it arrived today and i am super impressed. Although the bohyme is a good hair and fills out really well, it goes a little too big after washed for my liking. Amanda you should contact salvagestock and they will send you a sample.

Hey Rose, don't worry, I won't be bidding on your hair. Salvage Stock must have seen my hair extension add on ebay cos they e-mailed me a while back saying they could do me a deal if I had them as my regular supplier but I read a post, yes I remember now, she was selling really short wefts and Amm had bought some hair from her and said it was disgusting. The human dilema arises yet again. What's your second job Shel. I'm absolutely shattered, can't wait for bed tonight, not at work tomorrow, yi pi xx |

Yeah, salvagestock's hair was the worst I ever tried right next to Sensationnel. The weft wasn't even full, it's cut into 2 foot sections and she auctions it off into pieces. Unless she's doing it differently now. Luckily I only paid $3 for it.
Shel, can you tell us what brand and type of hair it is?

JENNY - I saw both they posts, infact i started one of them as i was curious. Well actually truth being, as im starting my own shop i have been constantly researching wholesalers both in UK and internationally to find the hair i was looking for at good quality, good prices and have been curious as to how the price varies so much between suppliers when most of them advertise the same type of hair as the other. Its mind blowing as there are hundreds. My bf says he never sees me lately (lol)
As i said i saw the bad report re this hair but i decided to ask them for a sample anyway as her auctions were always busy and had good feedback and as i was impressed with the sample i bought the hair.
As it goes in the hair industry everyone has different oppinions depending on what they are looking for. I am just chuffed i have what i am looking for. Maybe that member got a bad batch i dont know but im happy so hopefully i wont pester any of you anymore with the same questions re hair. Thanks for putting up with me guys!
AMANDA - I rent a chair in a salonand work there Mon-Fri 9am - 2pm and occasionally Saturdays and sundays. Then i go to my admin job from 4pm-10pm (should be till 12 but we get the work done then get away) then also run my online shop. Im going to pack in the admin job though. Just took it as Jan-March is normally dead for me each year.

ello ladies just read the posts above about the track length i found if i buy by email salvage offered me to buy half packs or full packs as i choose - i normally choose the half packs as they are half the price of the full packs anyway and i can have more colours this way, just thought i'd mention it. also although she starts the auction at 99p it normally goes up quite high, her prices to me are really good so i agree with shel email her for a sample and prices etc see how u go
i have used sensationnel before and didnt think much of it either amm

I am going to order some WaWa in 350 tomorrow while waiting for the PH.
DH thinks I should try some straight stuff since my hair is less and
less curly these days.
Dang, just got outbid, maybe I'll email her and see if I can get a deal on some.

Anyway i will let you guys know how it holds up

ROSEROSE When i spoke to her today she says there is 2 different packs she does, 1 is 74g (i think) and the other is 113g. I dont know what one i got but being chinese hair it has no red / yellow tones through it and is a nice ashy blonde (i bought the pale blonde) its reminds me of boyhme only cheaper. Whats wawa like? I had the thermofibre from AD but didnt wear it long enough to be able to comment on it

|
Posted By: RoseRose

My plan is to buy it in light brown and dye it once Ive got it installed. Hopefully she will reply to my email.
74g = 2.6 ounces
113 = 3.98
I could buy 1, 113 and a little bit o' blonde (so I can dye the blonde different pinks, purples)

dont quote me on the sizes chick, there are round about that but i cant remember. Let us know what you think when you get yours. I dont actually know what im going to do with mine yet (lol) i may just install it onto my own hair but then i always put extensions in then pick them out after a few days. I bid for it when it was really cheap and was adament to win in the last few mins of auction.
Sorry to change the subject but just a quick question, do you get a colour 3 in bohyme hair in the US? My Uk supplier doesnt do it and i can never get the right colour when i dye the hair myself? (usually try dying a col 4 to a col 3)

Nicki,
What does #39 look like? How about #130?
I am completely smitten with the pink. Must.Have.
Here is a photo of my current hair (though Ive since dyed it more of a darker copper)
http://rozilla.com/deepwavecolor1.jpg - http://rozilla.com/deepwavecolor1.jpg
Can you recommend colour choices?
Any idea how long it will take to get here (US?)
Price?
1, 113 pack, 1 73 pack, do you do mixed packs? I'd like some dark red and purple but not tons of it.

Right you are. I've seen #3 on bohyme's color ring and it would be perfect for me - their #4 is too light and #2 is okay but #3 is perfect. I have never ever found anyone selling it, tho.
You know CaliforniaKristin carries Bohyme for her clients so she must order it from somewhere. I wonder if she knows if #3 is actually available or not.

I think it depends on each company. eg, JP and AD's col 3 are a very dark brown but some companies it almost looks like a 4. I have more and more clients that are a col 3 all the time. Amanda do you have any col 3 bohyme in stock?
|
Posted By: Syren123
Date Posted: Apr 21, 2005 at 7:31pm
The last hh I bought, Bohyme #4, was really light! It was pretty, but #4 is usually a couple of shades darker than this one. So I also bought #2 and it was perfect. Most #2s in hh these days are VERY dark and I'm not that shade anymore. It's a fine line I'm walking here.
Not that I'm planning on going back to hh, but I'm glad we hooked up with Salvagestock if her hair is great and reasonably priced. Actually, I know what will happen: 7 months from now when I have to take all hair out again for periodic brain testing, I'll probably be ready for a hh install.
Call intervention, please. Here I am planning an install 7 months in advance.

I wish you all good luck, but to be honest I'm still a bit
dubious.
Firstly I think cutting up wefts into 2 ft lengths is a bit
odd. And I did check through her feedback on ebay
and (surprise, surprise) if you try and click on the
individual items to find out the ending price of her
listings many are 'private' or have been removed. A
lot of low feedback winners of auctions too.
I'm not doubting the sample of hair sent out to the
original poster was nice, but her ebay activities
seem a little.... strange.
And yes I am a new member, but before anyone
jumps on me, I'm not new to hair extensions and I'm
certainly not new to Ebay.

not new to hair extensions and not new to ebay? - do u sell hair on there by any chance pirate?
i think its great u can buy half and full packs from salvage as have a big range of colors and i can buy two half packs for the same price as one full pack but get to choose two colours if i want too
as i have said i dont buy on ebay though cos they go up too high - why dont u ask salvage for a sample pirate then u can tell us what you think

Sorry Shel, don't have any number 3, my English supplier doesn't do that colour either LOL. I think Amm should take up Salvage's offer of a new pack of hair and test it out for us as she is the bom on hair extensions. A good review from the wise one LOL would certainly sway me in buying hair from Salvage that I know xx |

well sgb I THINK ITS SOFT GENTLE BREZE! But could be be wrong!!!! The original hair I have in is from Hair International and its what I would call itchy scratchy blonde hair it wont soften with conditioner it is horrid! The hair from SGB arrived this am and just the feel of it feels much more superior than this stuff but will let you know with pics when I wash it etc as to how it reacts! I am just looking forward to getting this hedghog off my head!

Soft gentle breeze sounds like a 'feminine products' commercial to me.
Not to disparage SGB but, I cant get the image of a woman running
across a flower strewn meadow yet the commercial is about 'feminine
spray' or some such.

OOOOOOHHHHH I had never thought of an add like that but I know what you mean mind you it feels fab and I will report back once it is in and washed styled etc as to how it performs! But honstly it cant be worse than this hedgehog! My friend wants long curly hair at 22 inch plus in blonde any ideas? Really dont want to buy a wholesale lot as would like to know quality first as again hers is worse than mine for itchy scratchy! So samples would be needed just a few strands before purchase as most definately no hedghogs or pan scourers will be entertained!

You have to go into ebay and email her through one of her auctions in the "ask seller a question" section. I dont have a number for her doll

I agree with Amanda: I think that before anyone starts making mass
orders with suppliers, they should 1) get a sample, 2) see at least two reviews of
how the hair holds up long-term (not just on receipt), and 3) determine
how the situation is rectified with the client who has had difficulty
with the supplier (in this case, AMM).

I don't sell anything on ebay, nor do I even use a lot
of human hair. I am a dread maker and only use
human hair wetfts to make bangs/fringes!
I do buy a lot of stuff on ebay though and am allways
surprised when people choose to hide details of
their sales by making them private. I think there is
generally a reason for it, like hiding the final selling
price or the bidding history.
