Not from me, but someone from the hairboard- some nice shots of the
28mm curl in action, and some open-ended braids done in natural auburns
and the new Kirschrot shade:

I love that curl!!! But is it true that after washing it's gone.Say it isn't so I would love it if it stayed

The curl is fickle. If you can handle washing in cold water and a
whole lot of other care stuff the curl stays pretty well. And it
can be put back but that takes effort of a different type and then you
have to still do the cold water routine if you don't want to lose
thenew curl...
Ifyou want to use the 28mm I would *guess* the best bet would be to put
it in a few braids before getting int he shower and hopefully have a
detachable shower head (I used a similar technique for washing when I
had braids in). soap only your scalp and then try to only get
your scalp wet while rinsing. I'd still use cool water.
Then you won't get the rest of the hair wet and without the weight or
heat from the water it would be less likely to lose the curl.
Next time I wash I'm going to try this with my 50mm.
