She has cut her hair. Her hair had been nearly to her waist. She recently cut it to about shoulder length. There is an article about it with pictures in this month`s VOGUE magizine.

Why did Donatella cut her gorgeous hair? What did the article say? I know they`ve been mocking her *****iness on Saturday Night Live quite regularly.

SNL was mentioned in the article but not as her reason her cuting her hair. I also got an indication from the article that this may only be a "stepping stone" & not necessarily the final result, so her hair may get a little shorter still. It was quite a tramatic experience for her & had to hold back tears, but seemed pleased with the result.

It would almost have to be an improvement... IMO her hair does nothing for her except pull ones eye away from her face (which is a good thing) but then you notice the terrible color next to her pre cancered, leather, tanning bed/ Miami beach skin and you think this woman is on the cutting edge of style?

In a Yahoo photo dated March 5, her hair was at least to her breasts (they only showed her from the front) and she had bangs. Still blonde. Not waistlength any more, but longer than the shoulder length you saw in the magazine.

They could be extensions, or her hair may have grown some. I don`t know when the haircut took place only that it is in the Mar. VOGUE. The picture in the magizine showed her hair just past the shoulders.
