I made this thread for me and Bulzeye and for whoever is experimenting with a kit...So if you plan on experimenting with a kit, then post up before and after pics. I'll have my before pics up soon, I could go use it now but I'm scurred LOL

Here are my before pics. They looking kinda crusty cause I ain't put no products in my hair so it's dried out and **** LOL. The wave kit box said not to have any grease or sh1t in your hair. Does anyone know if I NEED gloves or can I just use my bare hands with the kit???...Hurry up and tell me cause I got plans to use the kit right after I post this.

um yeah u need a kit it says its good to use kit because the texturizer is pretty strong

u can use those yellow rubber gloves or doctor gloves or maybe even a vegetable grocey bag or a ziploc bag doesnt matter the point is to not get it on ur hand cuz it has sodium and something else juss spread it out over ur head ima use a kit but first im getting waves by brushing and pomade to see which i like better!!% AiA @`tb$ ,6$` 04 "2 , , !!)%$ !,` ,

I wanna ask my sister to do it for me but whenever she asks why I brush my hair so much, I always tell her that I work for my waves and I'm not "kitted up". it says additional items needed...a glove, timer and comb. I just stole my sister gloves from her perm box, some lil plastic ones. Now last question, does my hair need to be wet before kit???< ,, Iffa`a`d $ ` % , @ -"% ,- ,,-,, < 0 /.

ur hair doesnt look comb able (long enough) for a kit :/ U shouldve waited alot longer for a kit. U need to be able to comb in a S pattern with thick enough hair which urs was 2 low and if im not mistaken in the kit intructions it says, "have a enough hair" Also, u still have to brush like u did wid pomade.. brush and wear the durag. THe results arent going to b 1sec afta da kit. u still gotta brush to achieve a nice look.

dam...your pictures dont work.....lol i need to see your before and after shots to see how the kit changed ur waves....so did u end up combing the kit in or did u use ur hands?....did it make ur hair softer or what...........well i went to the store today and picked up this stuff from Spartan called Wave Saver...it says it makes ur waves softer and shiner but iono..... $- P cn`dp0% 00BB .(4`p /.%%%,$ %!-$%!-0"0 ".

I tried the kit just to see how it enhances my waves. It's just a one time thing though, I'm back to brushing and wave gel. The kit made my hair mad smooth. Some people thought I was mixed with hispanic LOL. I like how my hair isn't nappy and just layed down.< ,, Iffa`a`d $ ` % , @ -"% ,- ,,-,, < 0 /.

here is a tip to save you some pain dont use the kit for atleast 2 days that hair line you got may cause you some serious burning. Also dont brush your hair until then.

yo cedclark, can i wash my hair???...it don't stink or anything and I didn't wash it since using the kit and I don't wanna wash it (i'm not dirty LOL but i think it looks better than before and don't wanna mess it up) My sister goes to the salon once a week and that's when she gets it washed so I'm guessing this kit is basically a perm so should I do like her and wash once/week?< ,, Iffa`a`d $ ` % , @ -"% ,- ,,-,, < 0 /.

I was looking at my hair real close in the mirror and it looks like Cashflow's. I don't mean the wave pattern but the way it's not nappy or anything. alright yall, i just got back from regionals, and i'm ready for the kit....i think......but see i sweated alot and i dunno if puttin the kit in would mess up anything.....does the hair have to be clean?.......yo jigga how long did u leave the kit in your hair?.....did u perform that little patch test that they talk about? My hair was clean for like 2 days before, I didn't put any pomade or anything. Just washed it 2 days before and that was it. If you look at my before pics, my hair mad dry and nappy< ,, Iffa`a`d $ ` % , @ -"% ,- ,,-,, < 0 /.

iight i got the kit done.....nothing special.....my hair doesnt even look "kitted up".....lol afterwards i read the box and it says it gives you "natural looking" waves and curls.....right now my hair is really black and shiny but not bone straight or extra glossy like other kits make your hair look.....this duke kit kept my original curls and pattern, but made my hair softer and more managable.......i would post pics but my server is down for a few hours for "technical maintenance"...... $- P cn`dp0% 00BB .(4`p /.%%%,$ %!-$%!-0"0 ".
