William: How would one go about getting a lot of gloss or shine without really changing the color of their hair. About ten years ago, my college roommate had a service done (Sebastian cellophane or something like that) that made her hair super shiny but didn't change her naturally light blonde shade. Is there some kind of product I can use? I'm not afraid of at-home, I've highlighted with a cap before on myself, and I've used semi-permanents such as Clairol Brights (Which I hated) and "Loving Care" which wasn't so bad. I have a Sally's here.In case you need to know, my hair is a dark blonde kind of caramel color, with gold tones (more red than ash). Thanks in advance for your super response!
