My Hair Is Over 6 Feet Long

Hi, my name is Crystal, I'm 25 years old. I have super long hair, it's almost 6 feet 3 inches long, dark brown, straight, and very thick. I'd like to chat with you.

I like my hair the way it is, in fact I'm going to grow it even longer. I don't think long hair ever goes out of style.

Don't worry, I have no plans to cut my hair. In fact I'm going to let it get even longer, hopefully long enough to set the world record. I think long hair is always in style. I wash my hair twice a week, on Wed and Sun. This takes about 25 minutes. Air drying takes a little over 6 hours. Needless to say I am not a morning person. I never blow dry. I wear it loose always, and hold it up off the ground when I move around. I use a mild shampoo and conditioner.

I always wear my hair loose, and I hold it up off the ground when I move around. It is a lot of work to take care of. 25 mins to wash and 6 hrs to air dry. So I'm not what you'd call a morning person. If you want to see a picture, go to www.tlhs.org archive and it's under the "in" section. The picture's name is in1805.jpg. This was taken in summer of 1995, when I was 20. This was when my hair was "only" waist length, before I started letting it grow even longer. I haven't cut it since Jan. 1996. Sorry I don't have a more recent picture, just try to imagine me with about 4 more feet of hair. I haven't really changed except for the hair.

Unfortunately the only picture of me on the web is the one on TLHS taken five years ago. But about the only thing that has changed is the length of my hair. My body shape is the same, my face is the same. Just add about 4 feet of hair. Talk to you later.

Hey McKee,

While I share your sense of serious doubt about the veracity of the hair length of the original poster, I must say that that is all that we agree on here.

Unlike you, I love long hair. Though I do not like the look of short hair on women, you won`t find me saying that it "sucks." I respect your right to your opinion but I also won`t hesitate to say that I find your opinion to be very hostile. I`m happy for you that you are now able to wear your hair the way you want. It may surprise you to learn that the opposite case to yours exists as well -- those who love long hair yet are forced to keep their hair short as a child, and later wear their hair long as adults -- and take very good care of it, free of split ends.

Sorrrrrry, I can get a lot more hostile, I just hate these people that come on here and say thir hair is like 6 feet long and can`t give any proof. Thats the only reason why my post waz like that. I`m quite young, but one thing I hate is people that come onto messaeboards like this one, and make themselves better because they live in their fantasy world.
I do take it back that long hair "sucks" but long enough is long enough. I don`t see any reason for anybody`s hair to be longer than their knees. If they are growing it longer, more power to them, but I don`t see any reason to grow your hair longer than your butt unless you really want it for attention.

I completely agree about the imposters. There is a long history of them on this message board.

Unless you`ve talked with a person about their thoughts on their hair length (be it long or short), assuming a certain motivation for their decision is not a high percentage proposition.

I know that women with such a long hair exist, I have seen a woman with superlong hair personally. On a virtual talk board there is always an uncertainty whether someone tells the truth ore not. Nevertheless, the feelings that are expressed here are real and there may exist at least one woman with very long hair who will be reached by them. It would be sad if a woman who tells the truth may feel misunderstood and cut her hair why she things noone believes her.

I think there exist also good reasons for a woman not to present her picture in public.

For me very long hair is an unlimited source for appreciation, I think I understand the feelings that go with the length of the hair. It`s not only a question to get attention, it`s a creation of something like a work of art and it is an individual part of human, containing a part of his history (hair absorbs a lot of things). Very long hair needs a lot of time, patience and the request is always to take care of it. I like women who manage all this difficulties to give the world something like this.

I agree with you Wolfgang. Crystal says she has long hair and there is nothing that says otherwise. It totallly admizes me how some people thinks that they have proofs of things which they don`t just like the situation that I heard about me that I appeared somewhere. It makes me laugh because they have no proof of anything 99.8% of the time and they are so convince they do. THE MYSTERIES OF THe HUMAN MIND.
Some people will take for account that someone says that they have bald hair or very short hair but all of sudden someone comes along and says they have long hair and that person is questioned. Why is that? Is it becuase that person felt no need to show their pictures all over the internet? Or because some people can`t understand the need for privancy? Most cultures are not so open to be so open on the internet including Canadians. There are tons of women who have very long hair that we will never hear of on the internet and all those people will be questioned becuase they haven`t adapted a certain way of life? Or is it because they don`t behave the way one thinks they should? Good for Chrystal. Her long hair means a lot to her obviously.

There is a saying if you can`t believe in someone how can anyway beleive in you. It says a lot about someone`s character.

I`m with the doubting Thomases on this one. Two reasons: First, the name "Crystal". It`s a `put-on` referring to Crystal Gayle, right? Second, "she" has never followed up despite all the reaction. I`d love to see a picture, so come on "Crystal", it`s time to put up or shut up!

My sons had a sitter that had long hair past her butt and her name was Crystal. lol Actually my youngest is still in love with his ex babysitter. lol

She doesn`t need to prove herself as all of us haven`t prove ourselves. It would just be nice to take a person word. We also talk about IP and I had a crash course on that. It still doesn`t prove anything.

I just don`t like anyone being a target because the bottom line is Crystal is a human being and wants to participate and has been very persistant even thought of all the doubts which probably hurts this person`s feeling very much and for that reason only we should just allow everyone to share their knowlege of how they take care of their hair etc.

What right does anyone have to question anyone words?
