pouring oil on light bulb

Do any of you pour a few drops of oil on your light bulbs? This is a great way to have the scent flow throughout the room. I talked with a woman who said her husband used to snore profusely but once she started pouring certain oils on the bulb he stopped snoring!

O yes, on the lamp next to my bed, in fact a while ago I used to have a terracotta ring that was designed to rest on the light bulb. It had a furrow and I would drop some oils into the little hollow and it would heat up nicely.
