How can I style my hair like this?

Hi!

I'd like to comb my hair like this guy in the below pictures but I need some tips because, unfortunately, my hair is pretty thin and sometimes they fall after a while or I can't comb them exactly as I like.







Do you think this guy uses some product like wax or something similar? May I get that effect also if I have thin hair?
