Amanda Seyfried

Amanda Seyfried looked amazing last week on David Letterman's show. Even better on the show than she looks in these still photos. Made my day.

Now THAT is how you wear a center part.

Gorgeous hair. Still not a center part fan but that is how long hair should look!

Thanks for the post. There doesn't have to be anything unusual going on to appreciate beautiful Amanda and her amazing hair.

I have to respectfully disagree. I do like the color, and of course it's, you know, clean and brushed.

But the center part gives her a bit of a big-eyed alien look to me, drawing attention to her forehead instead of her eyes and lips. I can also see her ears popping out. At least one of these issues could be alleviated by simply parting it on the side.

And Amanda, it's neat that your dress has pockets, but please get your hands out of them, you're not hanging out in your sweats at the mall.

Major development, I thought that I'd never see the day. Amanda has chopped her hair to above shoulder length. Can't wait to see how it's styled for the Oscars and other upcoming events.

Looks to be an 8-10 inch loss

I'm going to remain officially skeptical until I see it all down and loose. It looks like it could be a faux bob with the way the one side is pulled back. (Though it'd seem she did get at least some layers cut either way...)

It's 100% a real cut, if you look at the link above there's a picture of the back and right side. It's actually a bit shorter in the back than on the sides.

I hate to be "that guy" but I think she just said goodbye to her best quality.

Looks like a may have jumped the gun on my certainty. I saw a higher quality version of the picture of the back and side and it appears to be tucked under. She certainly fooled me. Either way, like you said Klaatu, it looks like she cut some shorter layers.

I'm still looking forward to seeing some more pictures of her and her hair at upcoming events.

Interestingly enough, People magazine is urging Seyfried to try bangs for the Oscars, noting that she hasn't changed up her hair in years (today's posts notwithstanding):

Nice detective work here, guys.  Personally, I saw the pictures and was stunned when I thought that she had cut it on her own volition.  Especially given her semi-frequent comments on how she's loathe to cut her hair and has been lucky that she hasn't had to for a role as yet.

However, that front view above shows that she could probably pull off a short bob or even shorter layered 'do pretty successfully.  Which doesn't necessarily mean she should...
