Oh... My mom... almost 90 years old did some terrible things to me. She locked me in closets, fed SAD and OCD into me... just as she had when she had lived... and when I left home... things changed... much sweeter
She new I could just be gone forever... so she was very sweet.
Nice and sweet... and I helped her when she couldn't drive to get her grocieries... and all that stuff...
6 weeks ago, she had stoke... a bad one, where she can't do anything for herself... I visit her... just like I do!
But, when I go to the store, the fruit she wants is sitting there, the TV dinners are there... just sitting waiting to be taken off the shelf... I grab her bread instinctively, until I realise, it's not needed. I look down my own list.. Tuna, she likes that, She likes the 1/2 salted lays chips (crisps in UK). She likes the the better brands of lunch meat and the better brand of butter... I go by the pet isle... and don't pick up the tender beef cat food her cat likes so much.
And, when I am done, I feel hollow... like something is wrong... needs to be filled...
They still don't have the right color purse... the black one she likes...
