Jennifer Garner's trainer shared the diet Garner followed to get that killer body in the popular movie:
To get into shape Garner stuck to a 1,400 calorie-a-day protein diet that helped achieve a long lean look. Garner who follows a similar diet all year long except for cheating with an occasional glass of wine or a bit of dessert didn't cheat for the entire 2 weeks.
Garner's trainer for Elecktra was Valerie Waters who has been her trainer for several years.
Listed below was her basic training schedule and diet:
1. Morning - She had pre-dawn workouts which began around 4:30 am. She had scrabled egg whites with vegetables or a protein shake or Kashi ceral with soy milk. Then she would work out.
She would follow her morning workout with a snack of fruit.
2. Afternoon - Her lunch featured 4 ounces of protein such as fish of chicken plus a sald.
Later in the day she snacked on cheese, half an apple or a handful of almonds.
3. Evening - Garner had more protein. Garner ate turkey chili with beans which is one of her favorite dishes.
Obviously the beautiful brunette worked hard to get in perfect shape for the movie.
Garner worked out 6 days a week. She did strength training, running, squats, lunges and crunches on a stability ball. She also practiced archery and she also trained on bo-sticks.
