what hairstyle with a cascade necklace?

alright so prom isnt til the summer but my mum is buying me for xmas (so technicall i dont know about it) a cascade necklace to wear to prom, now i dont know exactly what it looks like but twenga has a few examples http://www.twenga.com/dir-Jewelry,Necklaces,Cascade-necklace so you get the idea... no im just letting my imagination go wild now!! thinking about what to do with my hair to best show off the necklace... ive got alot of dark brown hair, quite long. so its pretty styleable, i like to think id be able to do most things with it...
does anyone have any suggestions?? ive never been very good at hair but id love to conquer it before prom, this way id have time to practice!!!
