I am 21yrs old male staying in Pune. My hair fall is increasing like anything. Also my hair has become very dull and weak from roots. I approximately lose 50-60 hair everyday. My scalp is very very oily. The visibility of my forehead is increasing day by day. Also growth of my hair is very slow. Whenever I comb or dry my hair with a towel I find that mostly my newly grown hair (very small length hair) are fallen. Although I comb and use towel very very gently. I have control on my eating habits as well, then why is it happening with me?
Please suggest me some remedies which can show effect quickly and as fast as possible. I dont want to become bald so early. Its not hereditary. My hairfall has become a nightmare for me. Somebody please HELP!!!! Also tell me if somebody knows any good Dermatologists in Pune.

I am so sorry to hear about your hair loss issues.

Unfortunately hair loss can occur due to many different reasons including heredity, environment and even hidden illness.

Eating a healthy diet may or may not help to prevent hair loss.  Why?  Because of the way food is currently produced many of the necessary ingredients and nutrients have been removed from good foods.  Which is why for some taking vitamins designed for hair issues can help slow down hair loss or even help it regrow.

There is no "quick fix" for hair loss issues.  A dermatologist or a general practioner may be able to prescribe propecia which helps many retard additional hair loss.  There are some serious side effects with propecia which you must discuss with your doctor.

A doctor can also help you determine if you have a form of alopecia which is an immune system disorder which may or may not respond to various medical treatments and drugs.

Hair loss can also occur under extreme conditions of stress or after a severe sunburn to the scalp along with thyroid or other conditions.  Some people with diabetes will notice hair loss when they begin treatment, especially with insulin.

Your best bet is to find a doctor your trust that can do all the necessary testing.  A dermatologist often has special knowledge of hair loss but any good medical doctor can get you started with testing of your thyroid, blood sugar and to determine if you have alopecia.

Good luck to you and let us know how it goes for you.
