Suggestions

I need some help.  My daughter is competing in pageants (natural, not glitz).  She has to do interview in the morning and then I have about an hour to an hour and a half to get her ready for onstage competition.  I was thinking about leaving her hair down for interview and then just so that she stands out a little more, putting it up for competition.  I need something simple to do as I am not real good with hair that will last throughout the pageant.  Does anyone have any suggestions for me?  She has very long (middle of back) fine hair that does not hold curls very well.  I have looked at the stuff up top and nothing seems like I would be able to do it in the time allowed.
