After doing some research on this site, I've been able to learn how to properly care for my daughter's hair. I threw out everything that had mineral oil in it, and got products with natural oils instead. I got some jojoba oil for her scalp, which becomes flaky because of her eczema. I got a Mastek heat cap to do deep conditioning treatments, and I finally found a head scarf that stays on all night. It's been less than a week and there is a very noticable difference in her hair. Her curls no longer turn frizzy and she has a nice healthy sheen to her hair. Just wanted to thank those who responded to my previous post, and to everyone who contributes to this site- so much great information I wish I had found sooner. Smile

Yeah!!!! I am so happy you found us too.. Gotta another product suggestion for your duaghter..

I do have a few suggestions for sleeping caps that do not slip off at night..

I like bonnets for curly hair moreso than scarves.. The bonnets protect the curls so they don't look smushed in the morning..

One product I have used is a sleep cap product called Silky The Cap. Great product, but unfortunately (for a variety of reasons), this company doesn't have a steady distribution deal with the few vendors I know of that sell this product. So it can be hard to find them in stock (They do not have a website either to sell the product..) That said I do know that Extensions Plus (http://extensions-plus.com) sells these caps on occasion, so give them a call. (I saw the caps at Extensions Plus as recently as last week)

A very similar product is available from this company: http://www.prettyanntoinets.com/. She sells a VERY comprable product, and she also carries some other sleep caps/wraps. The Tubies in particular are a GREAT product. It states that they are for braids and locs, but it can also be used as a great sleep cap for longer hair styles.
