So, last week I met a really nice woman at the laundry mat that had some really great looking braids in her hair. We were talking for a little bit, and she asked me if I was looking for a braider (I'm overdue on getting my hair rebraided, but she was nice about it, lol). Turns out she knows a braider with a lot of experience for a very decent price. She commented on how the woman's braids lasts a very long time.

Well, as she was leaving, I was using a dryer next to the ones she was using, and I noticed one of her braids on the floor. I don't if it came out at that moment, or if it was stuck in her clothes. I was really excited to have possibly found a better braider, because I've been wanting to get some different individual braids that I don't feel the braider I go to now can do. I was able to get the braider's phone number and talked to her for a little bit, and said I would call back in a couple of weeks to set something up.

Should I be skeptical about seeing that loose braid on the ground? The woman lives in town and has been braiding for awhile now, and the micros I saw on the woman I met looked great. I just don't know if that was a bad sign or not to see. Looking for some opinions on what others would do.

that is definetly a bad sign..but who knows if the braid falling out was due to the braider,if shes been in business a while...check with her clientele and give her a chance

Thanks for responding. I'm going to go ahead and give her a try. Like you said, who knows how that braid came out. I know I've gotten my braids caught on something and have had some close calls. Hopefully things work out. Thanks again.
