For Shame.
How could there be absolutely NO mention of Tupac Amaru Shakur on this list?
they need to reassess the criteria

No Pac really doesn't fit into the scheme of best anything in rap. He was a bad boy and influential but IMO he wasn't the greatest or best rapper ever. But yeah the list is wrong. Its erry verse on C.R.E.A.M., Pun on Twins and Capa's verse on Winter Warz.

Best flow? Nope.
Best beats? No maam.
Son had/has a following that transcends age and time but its like God? Is he the best or greatest omnipotent being? Hell no but he's well known and liked for keeping it real.(Sorta)

LOL
Skrilla I am not going there........tis Friday.
saffice it to say, once again we disagree,
yes to all the above
flow like the monthly
verses like scripture
multiple counts around every turn Skril.
he would have very little competition today,
he'd have all these cats turn'n connaz

Pac's work definitely had the heart and I think his verse second verse on the "WORDS Of Wisdom" should have definitely been put up there. But Skrilla is right though he is one the biggest and most iconic artist in all of music, besides Bob Marley(go Jamaica!!lol), he was able to reach lost souls and hit them with much needed motivation and he was definitely THE BEST at that, but in a more lyrical scale of things Pac was probably #4 or #5 catalogue wise(his catalogue got raped after he died) and #5 lyrically thats just my opinion though I don't even know where Pac's fans crawled out from, back in 1996 when I had bought All Eyez On Me everybody was like what bull is this your listening to, then like 2 months after he died it turned into Pacmania so I was one of the first people around my way who really respected Pac's work and not because he was hip-hop's martyr. Also Pac's lyrics on the second verse of "I Just Don't Give A Fcuk" it is like this:

Walked in the store, Whats everybody staring at , they act like they never seen a motherfukca wearin black, followin a nigguh and shyt, aint this a bitch, all I wanted was some chips, I want to take my business elsewhere but where, cause who in the hell cares, about a black man, and the black needs, they wanna jack me like some kind of crack fiend.

Pac's first album was classic no doubt , Pac gets my awards for Most Inspiring, Most Influential, and the Most Likely to Incite A Riot lol.

Well, an opinion is an pinion, a subjective thing,
Pacs art, style, talent, poetic verses, worth being studied and taught, was bigger than a few swell punchlines that rhyme right...... I have strict criteria for what I glorify, chunkn' upteen verses in one cut is not impressive to me. The way some love Nas, that's the Love I show Pac. I totally can see him run'n rings 'round the majority of artists out here, and on that list, and  my Love is not from martyrdom, it's pure.
I'm Pacs biggest fan.rose

OK, let's go with that Jrose
now can u take it a step further for me, and compare this verse to someones verse, who should be #1  on the list in your book?
coz I'm not seeing how Pac is comn' up short? I'm not tryna' be funny, and u know I'm far from ignant'....I really do wanna understand where you are comn' from with this.
Rap Verses 101 is in session. Are you refering to quantity packed tracks? meaning how many verses are packed into one track? If so less is mo' then I can let it go, coz after that we are just talkn' 'bout personal taste. Otherwise please break it down for me. B/c the quality is unparalleled.
I'm not trying to neccessarily build a case against someone elses fav, going back to what I was on earlier what is the criteria, for a Verse, to be marvelous?
I would even be willing to go as far back and bat for "Same Song" timing, content, clarity, dosage........... let alone. "Strictly 4 My Nigggas" , "Ballin", 2pacalypsenow Trapped,
"We goin' All out" touched every base, and I realize it was not just him on all of these track but still, I wish I could put his verses in a syringe.nurselineand inoculate some of these studio prankstaz.

@Skriilla, u the last one that need to be singing to the choir 'bout worshippn' Rappaz dude. Pac was blood, flesh, and bone, who don't already realize that?

Lol Pac definitely should get two spots in there for those two tracks I just mentioned earlier no doubt I'm not disagrreing with that at all his #1 spot in hip-hop is what is being disputed though and his catalogue got raped after he died.

Pac's catalogue was good from 2Pacalypse Now- Makaveli and after that it was a bunch of shyt they jammed together, catalogue wise I would be more inclined to say Redman, and Ghostface had superior catalogues, but thats just my own personal opinion.
