OK to tone in-between root bleachings?

Hi! Just wondering how often to apply permanent toner to my bleached head?

I know the temporaries are recommended for every two weeks or so, but I need to use the permanent toners. If I bleach my roots every 6 to 8 weeks but want to freshen the color with perm toner every four weeks, is that ok? Or should I hold out for the root bleachings and just do it then?

i do, because the toners just don't last more than a week and a half for me!
as far as my experience goes, it's not going to matter on your roots because the toner will only show up on really light hair.
you may want to double-check though, especially depending on what toner you use.
