WET LOOKING WAVES

Can anyone please telll me how i can get my waves to develop that dark, wet look you know.... i have been trying moisturising, water methoer and the rest but nothing seems to be working.... I know most of yall know wat exactly to do so no doubt u will hook another brotha from another mutha up... thanx
