Growing your hair out

I want to know what you guys use to put in your hair when you started to grow your hair out for dreds. I have been growing my hair for 4 months and now every time I comb my hair within a hour its starts to curl up and looks really nappy. Also if my hair isn't wet when I comb it it will be impossible to comb because it will be so thick and dry. Do you have any advice for me.

i have, three months after:)  you go to someone who knows how to make dreads,and make your dreads..why struggle

My hair gets nappi after its outta water for a while, i think its natural, nothing u can do about

You can free form you hair to locks or simply coil  and twist.
