It is pretty good! All you have to do is mix the powder with water .shake, shake ,shake and leave it on your hair for however light or dark you want the color to be. However if you have had previous reactions to color dye DON'T USE IT! You don't have to use all the powder in the package..you can save the portion that wasn't mixed with the water for retouch ( which for me was about 2 and a half months. Oh yeah if you use all the sHamppo and conditioner up in the package I would not advise you to use any other bRand because the dye might not be compatible . By the way try  light brown or a medium aubUrn color to set off the waves. I hope this helps..peace love and hairgrease babyautumn2006-08-21 12:24:14

Never used it but my mom and another lady that went to the same salon had bad allergic reactions to it.  The one lady even had to go to the hospital so be careful.  I'd suggest you do a patch test.

Bigen took my hair out.  I waited two weeks after I relaxed, and my hair was in good condition.  But, products work different on everyone.

Thanks i appreciate the info. I wanted to use this kind of hair dye coz it dont have ammonium or hydrogen peroxide therefore it wont make my hair dry. I heared from some other people it last like 2 weeks but 2 months thats a good look. Does it have all the instructions of how to use it in the box, if not how much should i use my hair is kinda like the length in my wave picture, and will it stick to skin like other hair dye? I also thought the fact that its in powder form means it will be rubbing off on everything my hair touches and how long should i leave it in if i want it crazy dark like jamie fox and them?GME122006-08-25 09:28:58

Yeah it has instructions that are easy to follow,it won't rub off. but it will have to grow out. You said you want it mad dark like Jaimie EHH?! I think they have a color that is like a blue black or midnight dark color. Sorry that i don't know the actual name for the color but I do know it exists in the Bigen line of products. It will tell you how long to leave it in but i wouldn't push it over the advised time..you never know what could happen. Although some products are assumed to be safe to use don't let the word safe make you sell out. I do think it is some form of peroxide it cause how would that color stay in otherwise (i think someone is up to some extraordinary chemical knowledge in this beauty industry..don't you). Oh yeah when you get any color in your hair please moisturize. Before you get the color in do a test like Pokahontas said. Just follow the directions and place a tad on your wrist. If there is any discomfort like itching, redness, or some other allergic reaction just call it a blessing that you caught it early before you put it on your head and ditch the mess. I rather lose some greenbacks than my anything that grows on top or inside my head...wouldn't you?! I am glad the info submitted has become helpful. -peace, grease, live and love  life  to the fullest before it cease babyautumn2006-08-29 09:51:23

yeah it is small but if you just follow the directions and put the amount in the plastic bottle applicator ,shake it for a number of times believe me it will be enough . i just used half on my shoulder length hair at the time and it did ok. the only bad thing i discovered was that i didn't have enough shampoo to use the second half ..you know just to keep up the color. i thought the shampoo could be purchased separately also so i could kill the rest of the leftover powder off so to speak but i had to purchase a whole new bigen kit instead. other than that quirk i liked it just make it do what it do.:) and if it doesn't work to your advantage ditch it. ps. you're welcome ! ain't nothin wrong with keepin' up w/your appearances as long as you don't let your occupation w/your  appearance keep you u up:} -good luck and best wishes babyautumn2006-09-11 22:57:39
