 New Mod???

With all the stupid post from people from 360 commin in here yesterday i was thinkin we should get a new mod who would be able to come in and take care of spam post like that. cus sometimes it get ridiculous. nothing against kingjames maybe it should two mods for our forum. i dont want to be mod i think boywonda should be cus he would be on here enuff to see whats goin on everyday. i noe if we did stuff like that twista or any other mod would have deleted our account without hesitation. just a thought. what y'al think?

yea im agreement with that, however I do not want to be a mod either because i wont have time after friday for real to be on here as much as i have been. but that nonsense is gettin ridiclious...its JUST HAIR and these idiots cant understand that...a website with diff page colors does not make a site any better than another...i applaud you YoungA for speakin your peace to those idiots and leaving the situation along yesterday.  I just simply chose not to participate in it at all b/c all that talkin about our waves suck ova here, yet they still put me on DT, ya kno?

lol, yea it b funny 2 an extent, but then its sad as hell when u think about it...black folk cant ever agree on anything positive and try to twist it to a negative...on both sites, people are giving good techniques to improve one's apperance by way of their hair, and it turns into a pointless battle...

Hey guys...if you ever want to mod...just let me know.  I would love to have any of you.  King does a good job but the boards move so fast it would be great to have other great mods as well.

There you have it guys. She wouldnt mind another mod. So get to makin suggestions. I havent been on here as much but ive been noticing all the bull. I thought Young A was being harsh on the newbies but they arent reading the way they should be. And many people needs to be banned.

no one needs to be banned right now but when someone talks reckless about the site or any one talks reckless but the wavers here then it becomes a problem.
 
i would like to mod but college  is starting soon and i need to get focused so i dont knoe if i would be on here as much as i would like to. i will see after the 1st month or so.
 
 
but maybe someone in highskool i was thinkin boywonda fresh2def or someone.
 
anyone else think someone should be mod?

if boy wonda does become moderator. i would like to say that you deserve it the most out of anyone. (no offense to any one else) boywonda jus seems like the most dedicated to this site. helping people out. so if he earns this he will be helping us out with other things besides our waves. but im sure. that most of yall know what yall doin wit yall hair so yall really dont need help wit dat

I am assuming BoyWonda will help King with the Mod duties?  King has been very vigilient & done a great job but there are just too many boards for even the best mod to handle.
 
I will bmail Boy with the scoops on stepping up to help Mod.
 
Thanks for all your great help everyone and if you have ideas on how to continue to make this place better...please PM me.
 
By the way...we are still negotiating with Napster but not liking their options so we are testing other similar services.  I am determined to get some good tunes playing for ya all.

We are working on it....yes but not sure we can get the licensing arranged.  We have been in talks with Napster and two other similar sites.  It is on the top of our "ToDo" list along with several other improvements we will be making to the overall site as well as the HairTalk boards.

Nothing dramatic or disruptive.  We are doing a lot of behind the scenes stuff like upgrading to a new server so that the pages load faster, installing software that tracks the troublemakers so that we can block them and we are looking at adding music if we can work it out with the companies.  Not sure yet. 

We are always open to suggestions to make the HairTalk boards better.

As far as the HairBoutique.com site, we are in the process of redesigning the pages to make them quicker to load and also adding new topics to the Channels.  The front page will be changing in the new week but just to make it cleaner and easier to navigate.

Bottom line...we are always trying to improve things and make them more user friendly.
