Hello!
Ok so I am wondering if there is really ANY diet pills that work. I dont want to hear it from the way to excited people on TV, I want someone who really knows, and is a real person! I recetly tried trimspa... and I like it because it doesnt give me the jittery feeling, but it doesnt seem to be working. I am not terribly over weight, I just want to be thinner, and not be so self-consious. I am wondering if there is a ''magic'' pill out there for me, that will help me lose my extra pounds, without alot of ''work''. I am eating better, I just cant seem to work out! I try, but it doesnt happen.... no time, and no motivation. All advise is welcome! Thank you!

Hi!
In my opinion, I think everybody would love to have that "magic pill" but from as far as I know, the best pills require some sort of exercising. I know...a drag but I am pretty sure that the best pills work with dieting and exercising. And I agree, those people are way too happy!

I heard that DEX-L10 works. put it in google and find stuff on it. They did this clinical study (by real doctors) on how it works. People lost a median of 10 pounds a month, which is healthy. It is suppose to have hoodia in it (pure) and thermogentics. I think i'm going to try it.

Well here's my 101:

1.) Trim spa - sucks!

2.) Diet Fuel by twin lab - OK

3.) Herbalife - make me jittery and  dont like the smell??

4.)Zantrex (SP??) - Works good but dont take any after 3pm or you wont be able to go to bed........

Or if alll else fails break up with your boyfriend or husband - that is a FOR SURE way to loose weight.... JK!!!!

Seriously- I dont know how old you are or weight but I am in my thirties now and it's hard to get a few pounds off BUT what has been working is the south beach diet frozen dinners - I eat thoose for lunch and try to moderate my calories. I dont do the SB diet just the lunches!!!

good luck!

Phentramine is the only stuff I found that works.  It kills your appetite.  You can find it online or a doctor can prescribe it to you.  You have to make sure to eat though, because the stuff completely suppresses your appetite, so you have no desire to eat!

Exercise is definitely the best way, but it doesn't have to seem like exercise.  If you like to play a sport, go hiking, go swimming, just dance around your livingroom like a crazy person. . . just about anything that gets you up and moving should help.

Well, I can tell you that there really is a magic diet pill. Is the brazilian ones, Emagrece Sim. The stuff is amazing. I lost 16 lbs last year without one single day of exercise. I lost the weight in about 5 or 6 weeks. By the 8th week I had lost almost 20 lbs. So  I can just imagine, how much I would have lost if I had been working out. No sid effects. I felt great. The only problem is the FDA realized they weren't making any money, so they banned them until the manufactures in Brazil come up with like $100,000. So they are now really hard to find and have gotten super expensive. The first time I got them I paid $180. Now they are $350 an up. I just found someone who had them, and they cost me $350. However i've been taking them for a week and have already lost 5 lbs. So It is worth it. I had to get them, because after quiting my very physically demanding job, I put on about 15 lbs and just couldn't seem to loose them. Even with diet and exercise.

Now, be very carefull with the fake ones. They are all over the place. They are the ones made by Johnson and johnson, and they are crap!. All you get from them is a massive case of the runs. They are on all over ebay. And they cost between $130 to $160, depending on the seller. Don't fall for it, they don't work.

These (the real ones) really are safe. The person that first told me about them has a heart condition, and she was taking them. She first off course took them to her doctor, and he gave her the OK.

I agree with everybody else, is always better to do it the natural way. But this is a nice boost, and it might inspire you to get that gym membership once you see how good you can look.

it's not one that you get over the counter.. but from your doctor.
it's called Topamax. it's used for people who get migrane headaches all the time or seizures, but one of the side effects is weight loss ..or loss of appetite. i took it because since middle school i've had headaches and migranes and no medication would help, and finally that did.. but as of now i've lost over 35 pounds because of it.
i was a little chubby though, i have to admit, i like how i'm looking. ;]

now i'm not saying go tell your doctor you want it because you heard it makes people lose weight, but if you are overweight maybe you could set up an appointment and talk to him about it, what the risks are and see if it's right for you.

I was actually here to ask about this drug...I was prescribed Topamax, not for weight loss, but for migraines, and one of the most usual and horrible side effects is severe hair loss.  I was wondering if anyone knows of anything that might help prevent or mitigate this...a vitamin, or something?  I love not having pain every day but I really, really really don`t want to lose all my hair!  Would it help to take Biotin or something before that happens? Does anyone know what might help besides regular vitamins?
By the way...anyone who takes this drug just to lose weight has got to be crazy...it will make you thin, true, but also too tired to exercise, too stupid to think or work, too slow to be witty, you will lose most of your hair...how attractive can it be to be pale, vacant, skinny and bald?  I love this drug, as I said, for the relief from pain, but the side effects are horrific. They don`t call it Dopamax for nothing.

i honestly don't know where you got your information from.
you don't become bald from topamax and you don't become pale or stupid from it either.
i've been taking it for about two years now and i've never lost any hair and i'm pretty tan.
i also exercise almost everyday.
simply taking pill cannot make you pale, and it cannot make you stupid.
you need to take the blame for being stupid. ;]
sorry to be so rude but do you even understand how silly your post sounds?

Must be nice to be know everything about this drug...I wish you could talk to all the people who have lost their hair and energy on it.
I don't take the blame for being stupid, by the way, I'm the CEO of a major company..and you are...a surfer?  Don't be sorry for being so rude.  Be proud, Oscar Wilde would have applauded you.  Now, back to your tanning...

There is NO magic pill for dieting.  I use to be a 22 and then went to a 12 then to a 4.  I did it the old fashion way exercising and watching what oyu eat.  Its all common sense stuff- i walked everyday, ate more veggies and fruit, cut the bread/carbs by half - no creams, no soda(i hate soda dont drink it at all), drink more water(your skin will be better for it), you having an appetizer No dessert, visa versa as well, always eat a salad when you go out- ask for the dressing on the side- use your fork and dip it in the dressing and then go into the salad do not use your fork as a spoon either that is cheating, try to save your calories for when you go out to eat- even now i have recondition myself that i do not want that cheesey fatty thing on the menui rather have a pasta dish- w/o teh sauce(ask for lemons and squeeze them on it) w/veggies and grilled chicken or seafood.
However do not deprive yourself i mean do not go eat an ice cream sundae because you survived one day, but make a goal for yourself- you will find yourself not wanting that 'sweet' eventually or go longer w/o indulging yourself.

Her post was not silly at all.
Try looking at the side effects online, either on topomax's website or drug.net or some other reputable website.  It definitely can affect your concentration and ability to think,  definitely can cause temporary hair loss, and there are a handful of other side effects.
Meds are different for everyone. Good for you that you get no side effects, but it doesn't mean that everyone will react that way.
With all these side effects and the way that I react to meds, i personally wouldn't take topamax just to lose weight but like I said everyone is different.

Hi, I am really interested in this. Were you taking this drug yourself? Does phentramine really work?  How long does it take to kick in.  Also do you know if it has any side effects cos i've heard that a lot of these diet pills have side effects such as causing hair loss which would be more of an issue for me than the weight i've gained.

I've been trying to look for  it but had no success. Could you tell me about any safe sites that i could get it from, i know that some sites offer harmful fake alternatives.  I live in london so they'd need to be willing to ship

i would be very grateful for any info you have so please let me know

thanks Big%20smile

I took phentermine for awhile, and boy it really works!! I can't take it anymore because I have a heart condition (not from the drug). The only way I know to get it is from the doctor. It hypes you up, and you do NOT want to eat. I used to have to remind myself to eat something. Talk to your doctor, see what he/she says.

thanks for so much. i feel like theres hope now.i'm only worried about the heart condition thing....  I know u said it has nothing to do with the drug but i can't help but wonder whether that could be a possibility. Do you know if it does has any side effects?

How did you get you're doctor to prescribe it for you cos i dont think mine will. He'll probably tell me to just go to the gym because i'm not significantly big.  Is it specifically for the purpose of losing weight or is it for something else with the added bonus of weight loss as an effect

It would be healthier just to lose weight the natural way. When you start taking diet pills you have to double, sometimes triple your water intake.

For example you are supposed to drink eight 8oz. glasses of water a day. Taking diet pills you will have to drink 16-24 depending on the pill. In due time you heart will fail. The exact same thing happened to one of my co-workers who wanted that "magic" weight loss pill
