I want to trim my ends myself (using Feye's method) but I'm not sure what shape to cut them in. When I took pics of my hair, my ends look very thin
For the past little while I've had a 'v' shape and have been happy with it but I'm considering a "u" shape. Can the different cuts make hair look thicker of fuller?

Thanks.....that's my hair straightened which I love and the only way to see the shape of my ends. I trimmed my own hair today and I kept it in a 'v' but not as drastic.

Heres where I learned to do it. Its a great site and shows you how to cut your hair straight across.

That should help you!

Yes... generally, a blunt or U-shaped cut will make hair seem fuller/thicker. Of course it won't actually change the thickness of your hair, but the hemline will fool ya.
