So I finally found a reputable supplier of virgin russian hair!

I have been very suspicious of suppliers who claim to have vigin russian or european hair.

It sounds amazing, so you are saying you would buy it from this supplier
and you are looking to sell it to other stylist who want to use it or sell it
to other people to distribute? Sorry, it's still early for me

I would be very interested sometime in buying this hair, I've heard
amazing things about russian hair.

Yes, I have already bought, sorted, washed, measured, trimmed.....and so forth!  Now I am seeing if any other stylists would be interested in buying the smaller amounts for use on their clients,  color and length specific.  Let me know your email and I can send you some pictures.  I am trying to create an email link that I can use so you guys can just access it from here.  As you can tell, my 7 year old knows how to work a computer better than me, pretty pathetic!

I feel like I'm sitting at a car dealership here, getting the hard sell
and not being told the bottom line. Yes, the hair is beautiful. Can
you give us a ballpark of what we'd be looking at, price-wise, per
ounce?

I'm so sorry!  In all of my typing I sometimes forget the details!  I'm having one of those crazy days!

Mostly natural levels 3 to a 9/10.  Most ponytails have natural highlights and lowlights, so there are many different shades within each.  My current price list is as follows:

Blondes and Reds:

18"  $135

20"+ $150

Light to dark Browns:

18"  $115

20"+ $125

All ponytails are single drawn, although I have removed most of the waste hairs shorter than 4 inches.  I sell the hair in 2 oz. increments instead of the standard 4 oz. so you can get exactly what you need and mix colors if desired.

Thank you and let me know if you are interested.   I can ship by UPS or USPS priority or regular.  I only charge you what it costs me to ship.  I have a Paypal account, so I can accept direct deposit from your bank to mine, as well as debit and credit cards.  Or I will accept a postal office money order.  Hair ships within 24 hours of receiving payment.  Thank you!

It came in bulk form, bound in individual ponytails, directly as it was cut from the head.

I then removed the short waste hairs, washed and conditioned several times to ensure quality, seperated (VERY CAREFULLY!!)ponytails into 2 oz. bundles, secured very well with rubberbands and zipclamps, and trimmed off tapered ends.  Most of the ponytails were around 22 to 23 inches when I received them, but the ends were thin and I wouldn't feel right reselling for more money just to get a couple of hairs in that length!

So are you planning on keeping it all in bulk form? I want the hair, but I
am not really educated on how to make it into anything else, and pre-
tipping isn't exactly something I would like to try....

So the preices listed above are for 2 oz?
I'm having terrible ADD and just skimming everything and I see 2 oz, 4
oz, kilos, and all these things flying around....

Anyone thinking of buying it in bulk and tipping or something and re-
selling it or something??

I've just worked it out, from www.russianhair.net its $600 for 4oz of 18inch hand-tied russian hair and $264 for 3.52oz of double drawn bulk russian hair

If this girl's hair is single drawn bulk how does it compare?????? I'm a bit confused as to whether to order or not, what do you guys think?x

I know a lot of people are not crazy about working with bulk hair, but it is cheaper than buying hair that is wefted and then just cutting it off the weft anyways if your installing singles.  Here is what I have learned from reading this board a while back about working with bulk hair:

Bind the hair at close to the roots as possible, making it very secure, (which I have already done with a rubberband and a zipclamp), then just snip the individual pieces from right underneath the rubberband as they are needed.  The last time I did my extensions we tried this and it was so easy!  No mess, no tangling, no loss of hair, it worked great!

As far as single drawn vs. double drawn, here is my input.

Single drawn can be a bad thing if it is unhealthy hair and broken off all over the place.  The hair I have is very healthy and doesn't contain any layers, so most of the hair is long.  Single drawn hair creates a very natural look when used for extensions because your own hair has its natural growth and regrowth and therefore isn't all one perfect length either.  Plus, when I have had extensions applied in the past with double drawn hair, we usually end up taking a razor to it to break it up and put little layers in it to make it look more natural and blend well.  With single drawn you can skip this step because it is already done for you.  Double drawn hair is nice to look at, but when it's installed on most people, it looks fake because you can tell where the clients hair stops and the "perfect" hair begins, it doesn't blend well.  I can pick out a person in a crowd that has extesions done this way, and the stylist hasn't "blended" it in with a razor.  Anyways, that's my two cents!

Yes, the hair is all in 2 oz. ponytails and that is the price per ponytail.  I have only ever done individual strand extensions on myself because it's the only way for them not to show in my thin hair, but I know there are A LOT of different application methods out there.  I didn't pretip because I really don't know how, plus if I tried, I've heard its VERY time consuming!  I do have some information on a women that handties the wefts, and charges per weft, if you are interested in that method.

ok, well u asked for feedback so here goes

seeing that you are very very new to our boards ( and yes we welcome u ) however honestly- how do we really know u are not just someone wanting to sell us hair,

ok with that said and PLEASE do "NOT take offense-

i do not deal with any bulk hair, i do not have any time to color pre tip etc. i do 4-6 full head installs ( 200 strands +per client) PER week.

i have to have hair on hand and i do purchase and stock hair for my own clients to have avail to do clients.

if you are really wanting to have stylists purchase from u, the first thing in my opinion is you need to have samples avil to send out- and please do  not charge for samples. i never do business with someone who says, i will send u samples if u pay for them, there are so many companys who do send out samples for free if they want my business.

single draw hair also has to be cut to blend in with the clients hair.

if u are wanting to get the word out about your hair- yes make a website, and post your pics and prices and do offer them pre tipped- with all the hair out htere and yes there is alot of junk there is also alot of great hair out there, most people want it tipped for them, and the cost has to be reasonable as well.

Here here Tangles.  I almost bought this hair but opted for a reputable company because in the world of hair extensions I just don't trust a lot of people anymore.  Samples would be a good start x

I do appreciate the honest feedback, as I have been very honest with the board also!  I understand there might be a lack of trust because I haven't been posting for very long!  I have actually been reading the board for quite some time, but never really put in my own two cents!  I would have to get some help to get a website going, my brother knows a lot about computers.  I also thought about selling on ebay, at least that way people can see that I have a good reputation for buying and selling, and I personally feel comfortable when buying things on ebay, because at least there is some recourse if things were to go bad!  The only problem with that, is that it is an auction, and I would have to set my reserve price high or do a "buy it now", which I'm not sure if people would shy away from.

How much do people usually give out for a sample?  Just a strand of hair or something?

I also understand not wanting to dye it, but it does give you an incredible match and you only have to tint it the one time, unless you want to change your own hair color!  It is still great hair though, and there are many benefits to it, but it does take a little more work.  I do appreciate the feedback and do not take offense at all, it is good to know this kind of stuff!  Thanks!
