with those girls showing off their lustrous, silk-like hair -- makes me sick!! I do use pantene, but I never get that result. Never that shine or texture..

Or what about Herbal Essense's commercials where the women act like they are having orgasims.

But I hate pantene's shampoo. Dried my hair out and contained a lot of silicone that causes buildup and yucky hair after awhile.

If it makes you feel any better, their hair doesn't get that shiny from using Pantene, either. . . though they probably are coating their hair with far more sillicone than could possibly be healthy -_-;;; . . .

And do you really believe the girls on the advertisement really use pantene? I don't think so, they're just pretty women chosen from a crowd of models. And their hair is almost always blow dried to get the sleek straight effect so that it could reflect some more light and they use light effects of the camera  for shine.

Hey everyone!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who hates Pantene commercials. I even think the haircolor ads(L'oreal) andGarnier Frutis, and Herbal essences commercials are so BORING!!!!!!!!!!!

I prefer local hair salon comercials, more realistic.

I don't worry about having extremly long hair. By this late summer, or fall my hair will be at shoulders, which is what I prefer. I've had really long hair before, I'm a confident 35 yr.s YOUNG!

I've got more important things in my life than comparing my hair to others...

I love Bowling, Dancing,Long Wals, Hiking, traveling, visiting Family and friends, meeting new people, Volunteering, attending a new Church, But above that putting God first in my life. I'm extremly proud to be a Christian. No I'm not saying I'm Perfect. I'm a sinner, who tries with Gods help and Jesus' forgivness, to be a blessing to others, not just for myself,Amen!

              See Ya! God Bless Too!

Hey there!

I know what you mean about those ads on TV.

((Hating the herbal essences one the most))

I have tried the newer Pantene product though for about a month and I have gotten some pretty good results from it.  It's their new product line for targeting hair colors.

((Example - Brunette, Blonde, Red))

Using it for such little time already has actually improved my hair color and made it pretty silky to the touch.

Their older products never seemed to do the trick but I actually like their new lineup

I'm trying a supposedly silicone free leave-in conditioner by them to put on my ends mostly. I really don't like their products that much...but this is just going on the ends so I figure it is worth a try. It can't possibly cause hair falling off since I won't put it on the scalp.
