and how long do u let ur hair grow b4 cuttin it?

1.i use dax,but i put it in my head after my hair gets real thick,and i just brush it alot the first 2 weeks after i get it cut
2.i let my hair grow for about a month before i get it cut
3.i wash my hair 1 time a week
4.i use a stocking cap instead of a durag
method

its really no order, i just do whatever i feel like

It looks like your hair was originally soft. What do you mean by it getting thick?

yea its real soft,and when i say "thick" i mean kinda out like where it sticks up a little,then i put the dax in or i just place a stockin cap on it, im thinkin about usin pink oil

Usin pink oil might not be neccessary of your hair already down. just brush, brush!

For shine try natural products like shea butter. You could also try wave neaveau finishing lotion, but it's a bit costly. I noticed that lustrasilk curl activator can give you hair a nice shine, but it a leaves a slight greasy feeling. Oh yeah, Ice pomade works well too.

You could use oil sheen, if ya got any. That's what my barber told me thats helps get shine to, havent tried it yet.Pink Oil does give shine also but determines if your hair is short or its thick.
